No you played it very bad.

1. Unless the MP and button are raising and calling a lot off hands, you should fold KQ when you are OOP.

2. You shouldent lead the flop, let the preflop raiser do that. Then you can Check raise him, that way you will win more money.

The main reason I lead the flop was to avoid the flush draw situation. I know what you mean though.

You are very unlikely to get much money by check/raising this flop. Your bet was a little too big, probably, but this is a flop that nobody is likely to Cbet unless they have something. And if they have something, they are definitely not folding to your bet, and they could easily raise, especially if you bet about half the pot. In addition, if this is checked through, there are many turn cards that will either kill your hand, or kill your action. If a heart comes, or any a,k,q,j or t you are very unlikely to get paid off unless someone has a monster (in which case they could even beat or tie you). Giving a free card on this board is counter-productive.

On the other hand, there are a lot of hands that can pay you off - and the best way to get paid off is to bet out. The fact that nobody called suggests that they all missed badly, which means you weren't getting anything anyway, except possibly a very small c-bet, and probably not even that.

I would have folded or raised pre , and then check raised the flop myself .

Like everything, it's villain dependant. Against competent villains you may want to fold pre. Against competent (i.e. aggressive) villains you probablyl check/raise flop. FWIW without reads I don't mind calling pre and I don't mind betting the flop.

I think that 'if in doubt, don't slowplay' is a reasonable approach. Flopping the nuts is sweet, but so often you don't get paid off. And if you don't get some money in, you can't get paid off.

KQ should barely even be played, let alone leading a nut board on a donk bet. multi KQ can be awesome? are you saying in a multi-way pot? never in your life dude...even here KQ may not end up good, chop pots & flush draws.

I wouldn't go that far either . Kq is a good hand to open with . Kq should never call a raise tho .
