Seems like villain is repping sets here. I think your open size is too small, and I think we have a pretty clear fold here vs random 2nl villains unless we've seen them spaz before (in which case it's a snapcall).

I think open size should be 0.05 instead of 0.04.
Bet smaller 0.05 on flop.

Fold pre.

Yeah, it's a cliche but AJo is too weak to open UTG in 9 handed games. As played, the question is not whether you should fold but WHEN you should fold. Someone mentioned yesterday that 2NL pool is very nitty so this means that bigger bets are value-heavy. His raise on the flop cannot be anything worse than AK for value (and this would probably be 3b preflop) so he's basically saying he has a set. The only bluffs that make sense here are flush draws and I would imagine nitty regs would take the free card on the turn rather than continue bluffing. You could fold flop if you believe he's more likely to be raising for value but you should fold turn unless you intend to call down on non-board changing rivers.

In a full ring game, you can fold this on the turn, especially after betting big on the flop. Villain doesn't seem to be scared of AK, and AJo or ATs are probably the worst top pairs you should have in your range.
The hands I'd continue with on the turn are AA, 66 (if you open that UTG), AK, A6s, A4s, A2s, KQss/KJss/QJs/JTss and maybe AQ. AJo/ATs are basically the hands with the lowest equity of everything you see the turn with, so I'd just fold them there.
Snap-fold river as played. Villain has at least two pairs, but 66 is the hand I'd expect to see more often.

AJo is a horrible hand to open UTG FR and this hand is a great example why.

If we open and a competent fullring reg calls from UTG+2, we’re immediately in trouble because his range contains all stronger aces than ours, but no weaker ones. A lot of FR players never 3bet against UTG raises, even though that’s probably wrong from a theoretical standpoint. But I wouldn’t be surprised to see villain showdown AK/KK here. That means we can’t even bet most Axx flops for value. Just give villain a NL2 nit reg UTG+2 range and see how your hand performs against that.

I don’t even see how you can bet/call the flop if the guy behind you raises with a 3rd player left to act. Against somebody competent, you’re getting totally owned here on later streets.

There’s absolutely no way we should bluffcatch down here against a competent UTG+2 range unless we have a very solid read.
