Cash games results 60k hands $300 loss
SNG games 3000 games $1500 profit.

Time spend 1000 hours maybe? So I'm raking in $1.20/hour although my hour estimate might be low.

Help or advice maybe. I have little idea what I'm doing. I'm a recreational player but I'd like to analyze my game and look for leaks. Bought my first book, No Limit Holdem Theory and Practice, check my results on pokertableratings but beyond that I just follow my instinct which is okay at best. I've had some good steady upswings over thousands of hands only do nail a symmetrical downswing to match after peaking out.

Software tips? Books Tips? I'm willing to put in some effort and analysis but I'd prefer to put it in where it might be best utilized.

Thanks in advance.

With these threads it's best to post a graph and details (from HEM / PT3). People will be able to analyze some of the simple aspects like your vpip / PFR, which is typically the main issue for people who are new or don't know much about poker. One of the best investments you can make it so purchase Hold'Em Manager (HEM) to keep track of your stats / hands, and also it contains a HUD that you use while playing.

Also head to the Micro Stakes NL subforum, where you can review other peoples hands, as well as post your own hands where you didn't how to play it or you were confused.

Read these beginner threads to help you beat the micros, they are arguably much better than books, as long as you know terminology / the basics :

I would also read this if you arent familiar with the basics of math / terminology :
