Can someone re-host the Anthology thread it has been removed for some reason. It is a great learning tool and a wealth of info in one place. If anyone views this and can help. Ty
Are you referring to the link Lego05 posted recently? If so, I sent him a message earlier today asking for this as well. I agree, this is one of the best posts I have ever come across as far as having a wealth of info in one place. If I hear back from Lego05 prior to someone posting it, I will send it to you.
I put this together back in January for a friend I was coaching at the time. It is essentially a digest of all the digests, sorted by post category. It's been sitting on my web server since then, and it must have been indexed by google or something because it's been getting a lot of hits. So I might as well post it here since it's already out there... Enjoy.
People are welcome to add to this if they wish—here is a link to the original .doc. Edit it, save as both .doc and .htm, and email both files to me at azcire+2p2@gmail.com. If you have any other comments or suggestions, you can post those in the anthology thread.
I hope you find this useful.
I just had to edit this post to add, this is exactly why I love this forum, ask and you shall receive. The information in the anthology thread tops any book on the market and contains information that would take decades to get anywhere else. Thank you to all of the posters in this thread and thank you to all of you who help us beginners with your knowledge. It is really unbelievable that you are all willing to share your knowledge so freely. I hope some day I can repay the favor (or at the leat, pay it forward), just when i think I get it, I am reminded, I don't.
wpw was posting copyrighted material of its own forum o.O?
yeah, sounded odd to me. maybe because it was hosted on a site other than 2p2? although all the links obv were directly to the site. idk. looking for the exact post, but not finding it yet. also, my post was just in reference to OP's mention of its removal.
I am not a lawyer but I expect Mason is wrong. There've been some strange legal actions involving linking the last several years, but creating an index of links is almost certainly "fair use" (if even affected by copyright at all). If not, then Digg, Slashdot, Delicious, Yahoo, Google, etc are in big trouble...
Not surprising if Pr0crast decided he didn't want a fight though.
