Hi, firstly if you don't know what the spin ups are on a UK client SkyPoker, then let me explain. They are 6 handed, where the maximum buy in is 10BBs so obviously is a high variance game so hence the name you try and spin 10bbs up. Are there any threads people know of that can help with strategy on this kind of format, obviously shoving ranges / calling hands etc are a start. Hyper strat is good for this game imo. As I've not seen this format on any other site, I am finding it hard to find strategy threads for it. TIA

guess they improved slightly lol.
why play 10bb deep, its just like a mtt.
wouldnt you rather play 100bb deep vs the fish at sky poker as there is plenty and not take high swing flips vs these fish.

True, but there is just as much strat and money to be made in the spin ups. I know a reg who's transitioned from the highest stakes hyper hu on sky to these spin ups. Obviously his knowledge in hyper formats give him a massive edge. And myself I usually play hu hypers, but very much enjoy these.

how do these spin things play when everyone is deeper then 10bb are they just like a standard cash game or is it still a push fold format.
Maybe while they are new they will be profitable for a while until the fish stop playing them.
That hand chart should get you a long way to be honest.

Yeah like 30bb+ plays normal. 10-25bb most of them shove fold.
I prefer sky, don't know why. Just do

Sounds like the ill-fated push-fold tables on 888, Adrenalin Rush on FTP, and Banzai on Unibet.

These games are "solvable" (you just need a Nash chart), and are usually pretty soft at the lowest buy-ins because random gambly fish have no clue about shoving ranges, but the variance can be insane (so much luck involved), and - more crucially - if the rake is set too high they are impossible to beat in the long run.

Note: When push-fold tables ran on 888, they were exploited by multi-accounters and colluders. You'll have a hell of a job beating people if you've only got 2 cards against 4.

im not sure but i think skypoker has one of the highest rake in the poker sites but the tables are sooooo soft it makes up for it, also that is why i suggested just to play 100bb deep vs the fish instead of variance swings vs the fish.
There is way better spots playing 100bb then playing 10bb deep.

Yeah, that 7.5% at 10NL is outrageous, but the games are apparently super-soft, so you should still be able to get a double-digit winrate at 100bb 5NL. (I watched some 400NL from SkyPoker and it looked more like Stars 10NL, because the site seems to attract quite a few recreational whales with money to burn).
If the push-fold game has the same 7.5% rake, it's literally impossible to beat, because you can't possibly have more than a 7.5% edge on the field in a 10bb game.
At least with Unibet's Banzai, they cut the rake to something like 1%, so there's usually someone at the table with more than he started with after 100 hands.

yes, i have just been viewing the stakes and it looks soft.
i thought it was around 10nl or 25nl to be honest.
i think even though the software is a total eye sore i might actually set up an account as there looks to be tonnes of money to be made on that site.
i hope the software doesnt tilt me

Sky is by far the softest site I've ever played on.
