I am also a big fan of Moneyball. Really good film. Now I need to find a source of MLB games in the UK that isn't silly expensive, or as reliable as a chocolate teapot.

Gameday Audio from mlb.com. Includes live audio from all games, and "free" live TV from selected games, usually one or two per day. PC version is $20 for the whole season and includes access to archives. Smart phone version is $15. Unfortunately if you want both you have to pay twice.

i would recommend mlb.tv and/or or the radio version but I wont. premium cost >$100 a year and I have officially said **** U to any MLB products because of what the marlins owner did to my team. my handle on mlb is OziBattler (suprise ****ing suprise) and I mean what i say, I support my team but I hate the owner. JeffreyLoria is clearly an ******* and I hope he sells. I won't buy any MLB products with the marlins logo on them until the owner is gone.

Alright, apologies to my Secret Santa (Ice_W0lf) for getting these pictures up so late, as I was probably among the first to receive my gifts. I had a certain way I wanted to take the picture.



The gift here is obviously the hoodie; the logo is of the NHL's Carolina Hurricanes. I specified in my wish list that I'd appreciate a T-shirt or hoodie of whatever sports team resides in my Secret Santa's region of the world. I must say I'm not terribly disappointed with this draw. The Hurricanes actually have roots in New England; they used to be the Hartford Whalers. About 12 years I was stationed at Ft. Bragg, and I went to a 'Canes game when the Bruins were in town. The people who sat around me could not have been nicer, despite the fact I chose to wear my Sergei Samsonov jersey. Southern hospitality ftw. I figured a static picture of the hoodie on a hanger just wouldn't do, so I decided to model it.



Excellent trollage, sir. My one caveat to the request for sports gear was that it did not apply if the sender happened to be from New York. As a New Englander, I have an irrational hatred of all New York sports teams, and no team embodies the New York sports culture more than the Yankees. Happily it won't go to waste, my brother is a Yankees fan.

I received a handy dandy pocket recording device. Not sure that pictures are really necessary? I have actually been using it to record funny calls at work 85% and maybe 15% for productive things lol
