Hello,
I have been playing and studying poker for 2 years. I have taken it very serious and I am happy with the success I have had. But, I feel like I have hit a flat spot in the learning curve. My study habits have included reading at least 20 books, a few sweat sessions and reading 2+2 daily. I play a mix of games and have slowly worked my way up. I have learned good BR management so I never have to deposit and my BR continues to climb slow and steady..
NLHE cash .10/.25 5bb/100 (100,000 hands of total cash game starting at .01/.02)
PLO cash .05/.10 break even (25,000 hands total)
Sit n go's $10 total roi of all levels up to and including $10 = 18% (1000 games)
stud/8 .50/1.00 break even small sample (10,000 hands)
PLO/8 .05/.10 break even small sample. my weakest game (10,000 hands)
I know the sample size of hands is small for on-line. I only play 2-3 tables at a time because I like to concentrate on what I am doing. I am trying to learn the games not earn bonus points. I also play local home games 2-3 nights a week. The mix of on-line and home games means I am playing at least 5X a week. The home games are dealer calls and sit n go's. They are where I make most of my profit.
When I started getting serious about poker I formulated a plan and a strategy to improve (reading books, studying, and playing several times a week). I have reached the goals I set out to reach. Now I am looking to formulate a new plan for me to take the next step. What helped you take the next step? I have not used any coaching and I have watched very few videos. If you recommend these avenues please give me the details.
Once again,
thanks 2+2
