Hand 1: With info provided, I hate this cbet. What do you perceive villains' ranges to be and how does your hand stack up against those ranges? Would help to have information on villains and exact cards though. For all we know, you have As and flop is sss, which changes things.

Hand 2. V1 position is missing. Reads on V1 is missing. Did you donk? Action seems to be missing, you said 'everyone folds', who is everyone? Only you and V1 are in hand as far as I can tell. The flop matters as well, Txx could be TJQ monotone or AT2 rainbow, this is important information. Information on the villain or villains is missing. Information on effective stack sizes is missing.

Conclusion: this bet is somewhere between very good and very bad, but no-one can tell you where on that spectrum it lies.

1) I would almost always c-bet here at 1-2 and I would almost always expect to take it down. You may have the best hand, you have position and you have the equity of 2 overs even if someone has TT/9x. Sure you could get blown off your hand, but you take it down way more often than you fold to a raise and miss a chance to hit the Turn. Who hit this Flop? Probably no one, make um pay to see another card!!

2) Hard to say here .. But normally you don't 'need' to open with top set unless you have a passive V that may not auto-c-bet. Again, generally you need V to 'catch up' or improve when you have a set. Donking out here if V was on B just doesn't happen very often in my game. If V was straddling out front, then I almost always check to the Turn and hope he picks up a piece. On the flip side ... I am 'always' betting the Turn if checked to OTT and sometimes leading out from OOP depending on how the Turn card changes the board. GL

For hand two, are you in position? Either way, I'm assuming you have top set with no draws because you didn't mention it, so on such a dry board as that you really should check unless you're playing against calling stations or aggrotards. Even if you think they're strong they could just have AK and fold the flop.
