Pot sizes range from an average $200 up to a grand. My 4 hundo stack never got any higher. Caught a steel wheel when all in and only got 3/4th. My brain fart hand: Slight frustrated, but wanting to mix it up, raised to 20 utg with 2c-3c-3s-4d. Flop K-K-Q (2clubs) I bet 20, I bet 40, one caller left. The guy who already had 3 buy-ins. I shut down on river. His pair of sixes scooped my threes. The game is mad. #addicted. Split some slots with the neighbor to min cash. Got any stories? Love to hear them.
Jesus, Arky... Your line screamed AAxx. He'd have had to fold to a river bet. But that is being results-oriented. The moral of the story is, ask yourself what kind of board lets you scoop before you even enter the hand with your cards, let alone raise. Your pf hand really wants people to come along, hoping a low board comes with an Ace in the flop.
I know you said you wanted to mix it up, but UTG is a dangerous place to pull that kind of stunt. With those cards, consider that play in late position when all others have folded. Maybe raise (A4)5K from the button when 4 or 5 limp to you. Those are the kinds of nonstandard plays that make folks uncomfortable. But notice the common denominator here is position.
That said, if people call double barrels with 66xx on that board, hoping to hit their 2 outer to the under full, I may need to get out to the GVC soon....
