Following the High/Lo system can you really make a big profit when the cards get <+3?? I know you have to bet big(within your bankroll) when it is like that but in the long run will you eventually.

It seems like bankroll management would be the biggest part of this system?

I was thinking about downloading casino vertie to help me practice my black jack and card counting.

Anyone Have advice for me to get started? I know this is going to take a lot of practice before im ready for a casino.

Yes, the two theoretical problems with card counting are that you need a huge increase in your bets on good counts in order to get a good edge, and even with a good edge you're still looking at massive variance in your results, and so need a huge bankroll to match your huge bets on good counts.

It gets worse when you account for the fact that the casinos that can exclude skillful players are watching for those big bets on good counts, and so a practical limit on what you can do is set by that.

Search the forum, there's lots of discussion already.

95% of the skill of successful blackjack play is continuously getting your money in the betting circle when it counts. The rest is something your average monkey can learn.
