I was there for the hardcore LATB ride or die fans that paid $20 month to subscribe. All of the games i wanted to spread were for and by them. I liked small low stress "real" poker games with intimate settings, not giant "baller" games with a bunch of primadonnas. giant games bring in a den of thieves and scumbags and unless you are nicking them on sports/private games/Apps etc. the juice isn't worth the squeeze. My time was up there. ya feldman accelerated it, but i was burning out anyway. I got a good severance and a good sale price on my shares and everyone was happy. That money went straight to crypto at a great time and by dumb luck I made out like a bandit. It couldn't have been more perfect really.
when feldman got thrown out of LATB (long after I sold my shares) he was out in the wilderness but he knew what to do to run a "modern" stream, he needed sort of emergency short term help to make that dream come true and he found who he needed to find i suppose.
My favorite stream was the LATB era wtih JCW, Brandon 2 hats, Nicole, Harry, The Hammah etc.
I'll watch bigger games but, I don't play 200/400/800/1600/3200 with an ante vs Mr. Beast and Ryan Garcia, so it's not all that valuable to me. I do play midstakes, so watching a 5/10 game and seeing everyone's cards helped a lot. It really captured the zany sitcom vibe that LA cardrooms can have and that was a lot more fun and interesting to me.
Any updates or good stories on that cast of characters?
