Hi
For some weeks, I'm searching for my first tracker, the one I'll start to love and live with for some years probably.
So I'm testing H2N among others. For now everything is okay; excepts some lags with transition animations, as I'm using a VirtualBox to run it (Linux user, I'm a dev) and I unfortunately didn't find the option to disable transitions; and the fact that it crashes everytime I start it, I've to start it again to make it run.
=> I was really on the point to buy it, especially for ranges analysis.
But yesterday I took the train for some hours, without internet connection (at all, really); and I panned to use this time to work with H2N for a while.
But I was
SO disappointed to constat that the software won't start without internet connection

What the hell is this ?! I get that you want the software to auto-update when there are upstream updates to make sure users always have a fresh version of the soft. But I really don't get how could you prevent users to run the soft without internet connection, when the last update was made just yesterday !
Do you plan to change this is a net future ? (If I was member of the team, I would add a rule to check if the last internet connection was "some" days ago, some is to define)
Thanks
