Could you please try closing Hand2Note and deleting this file:
C:\Program Files\Hand2Note4\Config\version
This will most likely help fix the issue.
However, if that doesn't help, try reinstalling Hand2Note. Could you please follow these instructions for the correct installation of version 4.1?
Before updating/installing Hand2Note 4.1, it is recommended to back up all your settings.
1. First, you should back up the
Config and Notes. You can use the built-in features for this:
• Tools -> Export Config To File
• Tools -> Export Notes To File
Marked hands should be copied manually from:
C:\Program Files\Hand2Note4\MarkedHands. (Be sure to save the backup files in a separate folder).
2. Due to the many changes implemented in the new version, it will not be possible to activate the old version's database. You should export all the hands from the old version database.
After saving all the necessary settings, you can proceed with uninstalling the program:
1. Uninstall Hand2Note 4 via the
Control Panel.
2. After uninstallation, some files will remain in the Hand2Note folder. These have to be deleted manually. By default, this is located at:
C:/Program Files/Hand2Note4
3. Download and install the latest version from the following link:
https://h2n.blob.core.windows.net/ha...4Installer.exe
4. Run Hand2Note 4 as an administrator.
5. You will be prompted to log in to the new website. If you do not have an account on the new site, you should create one using the same email you used for Hand2Note 3 so that HUD packages purchased for the old version work in the new one.
Please note that the account have to be created separately, and the password from the Hand2Note 3 account will not work on the new website.
6. After launching, you can try installing the Config exported in the first step using the option:
Tools -> Import Config From File.
