Thanks to all for reporting and commenting - I also noticed a spike in player counts a little while ago. I have shared your observations with the team.

Observations? Games on your site crashed. Do you not even notice THAT anymore? Your so proud of your player spike.

Translation- We had over 250k players guys so as you can see since last year everytime we do the site goes bat**** lag/crash crazy. Please bare with us, we are billions in debt.

I'm fully aware it's a RAM issue, but I don't see the problem with being able to open zoom tables into a state of being sat out, which would also solve my problem.

The problem is merely a matter of priorities for many ideas, improvements, bug fixes already in the pipeline and a limited set of resources to address them.

In order to solve your problem in the manner you suggest, we'd have to create another option in Settings to control how Zoom tables are opened, and then change the code for opening tables to check the the state of the option, then QA the whole thing across a complex matrix of licenses and platforms. It's not trivial, and it would involve a lot of people to design, code, implement, test and maintain this new feature, even though it seems pretty simple looking in from the outside.

That effort would have to be balanced against how many players really need this function and what else is in the pipeline that will have a greater impact on the player base.

Or, you could address your RAM capacity.

In any case, I have shared the idea with the team, but there is no support for making a change at this time, based on the considerations I mentioned.

Hi keith why has the wcoop main event replay not shown in the client now & as i did not see it shown before are pokerstars ever going to show it?

here is a temporary solution^^. Bryan said the replays would be available in client until TCOOP so no idea why they are gone already.

I mentioned this a few weeks ago but thought I'd bring it up again. whotfru.info is still tracking Stars hands even if you opt out of all tracking sites (though they did stop tracking Zoom hands). It's a violation of your T&C so I hope they'll be shut down sooner than later.

I don't generally reply in this thread, but another member of our team referred me to this post.

The WCOOP Main Event replay is not in the client due to a technical issue which we're not able to solve at this time. The recording started as soon as the final table was reached, which was at the end of Day 2. There was then a pause of 16 hours, and the replay includes every bit of that pause, unfortunately. Given that, we chose to remove the replay from the client. (We're working on improving replay functionality.)

For now, the WCOOP Main Event can be viewed - replete with expert commentary - here on PokerStars.tv.

Understood, though I figured I'd share how I envisioned this looking anyways:

Keep the same button "Restore all popups" (or however it's worded, I don't have access to the client atm).

Underneath, add the text "Restore individual popups" with an expand/collapse icon in front of it.

When expanded there is a list of items, each with an individual checkbox on the left, a very brief 1 line description of the alert, followed by a blue help/question mark icon on the right (all of this on one line). When the user hovers over the icon a more in depth explanation appears (and disappears when the hover ends). Obviously this would only apply to devices using some sort of pointing device (i.e. it would not work on mobile).

Similar pop-ups can be grouped into the same category to save space (e.g. all "Registered in Tournaments", all "Busted from Tournaments", etc...)

Underneath the list would be a single button to restore the selected pop-ups.

Got your PM - thanks. Based on the additional information you were able to provide, I think you may have a VIP Club option enabled that plays a sound effect when you achieve a VIP goal.

Go to Settings > VIP > VIP Club and look for the checkbox "Play sound after achieving goal".



Next to the text is music symbol. Click that button to play the achievement sound to determine if that's the annoying sound you are hearing occasionally.

If so, uncheck the box and click OK. Then play a bit to see if the annoying sound is no longer playing.

I listened to the sound recording you sent, and it's definitely not the default achievement sound we include with the software, which suggests that your sound file is either corrupted or has been overwritten by some other application.

If you still want to play the achievement sound and want to replace the corrupted one, Support can send you a new sound file (file name = snd13.wav), which goes in the SND subfolder of the PokerStars software folder.

Thanks for the input - there are several ways we can slice this if/when it gets traction on our side, and I'll include your thoughts in the discussion.

The sound that plays is snd18.wav followed by the distorted sound (that is none of the sounds from snd folder). I have all sounds turned off except attention in the settings and vip tabs. I am using UK client.

It's a reasonable request and I understand why you'd like to know but, aside from proprietary considerations, providing such a list would set expectations that would frequently be unrealized - give you all another tool to hammer me with.

option to dismiss "do not register this tournament if you cannot attend" popup for live sats permanently?

ofc wasnt expecting u to post about proprietary or behind the scenes type of stuff, was referring to things itt. we give suggestions that kinda go into the abyss without knowing where it stands, so it would be nice to get some feedback on what is prioritized. anyway point taken, i can see y u wouldnt want to do this as well

I get why but any chance to only have to dismiss it once per month or once per tournament series or something? Or give the option to people who have qualified for >15 stars live tourneys or x in the last y months or something like that since by then you are gonna know how it works and don't need reminded every time.

Same thing with "if you win a seat when the target's registration is still open.." popup also. These would save a decent amount of clicks each day.
