Excelent update.

Stars should prervent more 3-rd party programs work.

Also tables are very "fishy" today because regs tilting through last update

Anyway, it's not sarcasm and new updates are good as always.

Obviously if I had known that the update would break BetPot as it has, I would have told somebody in advance (we've been testing this for weeks on our public test site). This update also breaks PokerOffice, and we told them weeks ago that it would happen so they could get a patch out. However, we really can't be held responsible for incompatibility with third-party tools.
yeah this amount of effort is actually fairly impressive and certainly commendable

good job stars and i look forward to getting my security token in the mail this week

I am not running any scripts but when I loaded up 12 sngs and as I started busting the tables either when they close or when I was shoving all in moving the bet scroll bar I was getting some Visual C+++ Runtime error. I tried to copy it but I couldn't do it in time as if I didn't click ok in the error box to close it I couldn't act on any of the tables which would of timed my hand out. I'm not sure why this is but I've never got this error in my years playing on stars.

This error kept popping up over and over which is quite annoying when you got lots of tables going. I'm not sure why this is but I noticed it in the sngs not any cash games I played earlier.

What is this "pin/security token" everyone is mentioning? I have seen nothing but rumor here on 2p2.

One other thing, about the messed up chat font....

the 'stat's', notes and info tabs have perfectly readible font, haven't they heard of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"?

Seems they have gone to "if it works fine, break it" so they can keep the programmers working and Scotty dodging our bullets.

Got your flak jacket on, Scotty?

I really hope something is done about the font in the chat window. I'm dealing with some serious eye strain after trying to read the dealer messages today. Please at least give us the option the change it.

lol, 24 tabling for ages with the right mouse button for bet 3/4 pot, it is a hard habit to change, please fix the software so we can turn the theme thing off, I haven't changed table themes in years.

Yea, deep tables might be cool.

Also, right click to bring up table themes is really annoying, although the slick theme looks really cool (haven't tried it out yet)

different colored card backs would also be nice if we could do that, black on black is kinda tough to see

Dont touch my right mouse button!! I need it for more important stuff than themes!

this update is awful. Why in Gods name would you bind theme change to the right mouse button? Ive somehow made it my entire poker career with only changing the theme once.

(Although congrats after 5 years finally letting us display thing in PST)

I don't use scripts requiring the right mouse button, and I've "accidentally" clicked it a half dozen times while multi tabling.... I'm tired of constantly having to close the themes window. Who came up with this brilliant idea? They sure don't use a mouse often to attach it to a rarely used item and screw up everything else.

And everyone, even micro limit games is bitching about the fonts in chat and how they can't read them. And for the 2p2'er who asked, "who reads the dealer messages", anyone that plays any of the draw games needs to look back and see who drew what and who stood pat, etc.

1) This may have been suggested before ... please consider adding pineapple and/or crazy pineapple ... I think that these are the only games which are spread in (some) B&M casinos, but aren't on the site.

2) Agree with all posters condemning the recent font change in the chat box, although programming sadists could have made it even worse (e.g. 20-point IMPACT for the beraters; comic for the deranged, etc.).

Don't ever say we don't listen.

Regarding the chat box font: the change was made as part of some datamining control measures which were introduced in this client release, but as a bonus the new font also increases in size as you increase the size of your table (something people have been wanting for years). It's not perfect. Constructive criticism on exactly what needs to be changed is welcomed.

Beta testing of some new account security features. If you had a Secure ID before this update, you'll be migrated to the new 'PokerStars PIN' which has improvements to make keylogging less effective.

I have to humbly disagree. When has anyone on this thread asked for bigger tables for any reason. Most want to be able to downsize them for playing multi table, and that makes the font even worse. PS should realize that those who generate the most rake, often are multi tabling and want smaller windows and font they can read.

Thank them for at least listening about the right mouse key. For that, they once again deserve credit for listening to their customers.

Thanks for nuking my freeware HUD and making the chat fonts impossible to read for my tired old eyes...
Are you guys in cahoots with paysite HUDs? And reading glass manufacturers?
