Following up on a reload bonus fail:

IMO I should have been prompted for this, i.e. "click here for live assistance". This was just too weird.

has the lag been fixed yet? macs safe to update?

An option for "disable Cashier button while seated at table" would be good.
Means that if I'm doing a sweat session with somebody or something, I don't have to worry about opening my cashier (as is habit at times) and having them find out my personal information.

Just click the summery tab and when you next click the cashier the only personal info someone would see is your balance

Possible to get the "frame" size bigger in your hotkey's?

Frames are to thin to notice at the tables... need to have the option to make them bigger?

any chance for a button, maybe next to "turn off hotkeys", to disable "popup table whenever user action is required"

my client is updated and running smoothly.

some of the lag issues were user specific rather than userbase-wide so it may still be a gamble..but fwiw I lagged under previous updates but everything is running fine now.

UK on .com client, Os 10.8.5. I'm updating to Mavericks tomorrow/weds so that could be +1 level of shenannigans. (I know it should make no difference but..meh)

when switching between MTT and SNG lobbies I'm getting a good 5-10 seconds of lag; this has been going on for days now

How about an option to pay to change the avatar after the first change? I'm assuming that the reason it's limited to one change is the cost of admin.

I've been vocal pro-meetings and pro-stars in general and I still am.
This is one of the things that bothers me the most: they decided to implement the solution on the previous meetings, they set some time frames that passed.
Now they organized and finished I think another meeting without implementing what they decided on the previous one.

But the most annoying thing is the lack of an update.
If they said "we decided to postpone it till 1st of Jan to not mess up the SNE chase of some of those regs", I can understand that.
Or even if they said "we decided to cancel implementing the solution because we don't think it's a good idea anymore".

But ignoring this question entirely is wrong and hope to hear some kind of answer on it, Steve.

I experienced two bugs tonight while playing $0.01/$0.02 ZOOM NLHE.

1. This bug has happened many times. During a hand, I click on the "sit out next hand" check box on the left of the table. I watch the check mark appear to confirm that I clicked on the check box. I do not get sat out the next hand.

2. My opponent and I were all-in after the flop. Both of us had "run it twice" enabled, and so the turn and river appeared twice. Unfortunately for me, my opponent won both, and the blue "run it twice" chips were pushed to him. From that point on, every hand I played on that table, the normal denomination chips were replaced by the blue "run it twice" chips. I tried sitting out then rejoining the game, but that did not fix the problem. The issue did not go away until I left the table and rejoined.
NOTE: I had 3 other ZOOM games going (same limit), none of those were affected.

I have also sent these issues to PS support, as well as my log files. I posted it here as well because I figured it never hurts to have multiple people see it.

I find that the run it twice chip disappears after a few hands

It would be nice if "show lobby images" did more than it does now, if you have it unchecked and don't care to see all those banners and stuff. Maybe the option to hide News window from popping up again, too.

Hi 2+2,

We are releasing a small client update this week. The focus right now is mostly on PokerStars 7 which is in closed Alpha stage, but here is a list of few items that are being released:
  • Mac Performance Improvements --We have optimized the Mac clients performance slightly to alleviate some of the lag problems that players might have experienced. We have also fixed several other issues reported recently. Players who are using the special client posted in this thread earlier will not be asked to update to the newly deployed client and can continue using the special client until we confirm the instant lag issue has been resolved.

  • New Default Card Backs -- we have changed the default card backs to be one of the recently added variants. If your card backs have changed and you want to go back to the previous design, then please right click on the table background or felt and select "Table Themes" and adjust your card back design from there.

  • Auto-Centering when Automatically Seated -- we have added the option to always be automatically centered in the bottom center seat (or the one closest to bottom center) when a player is automatically seated at a table, for example via "Seat me" or "Find Me A Seat".

  • Other minor improvements and fixes.

ratholing solution?

Is this what you call a minor improvement?

Directly funneling the recreational players from the real money tables to the play money tables by giving them the allure of being able to play high stakes?

I wish people would stop caring about minor issues and start realizing that Pokerstars is not your friend.

We expect to be able to roll it out to at least some stakes in November.

Thanks -- this is clearly a mistake that we are looking to rectify asap.

That's not as bad as pokerschoolonline where they teach bankroll management and betsizing to fishes.

Just a matter of time before trackers and seating scripts are added to the store.
