My apologies if someone has posted about this before - I checked back a few pages, but not 114...

However, unless I'm really missing something, there seems to be a major bug with the interactive hand replay function. Namely:

If the hand goes to the river, an opponent calls your bet on the river, and then mucks after you show a winning hand, if you then click on the red circle button at the top left of the table window to bring up the interactive replay, the replay window shows the opponents hole cards despite the fact that they mucked their cards . This only appears to be the case if you're the winner of the hand - otherwise you do not see the mucked cards. You also will not see the cards if the opponent folds before a showdown.

Has anyone else noticed this?

All hands that reach a showdown are shown in the replayer, mucked or not. This is intentional, and has worked this way for many years. It's the online equivalent of the 'I want to see his cards' rule.

Hands that don't reach a showdown are only shown when the player chooses to do so.

By the way, you can set your preferences to show more posts per page by clicking 'My 2+2', then 'Edit Options', then looking for 'Number of Posts Per Page'. I have mine set to 100, but if you have a slow connection you might choose less.

Alex so are you saying pokerstars will never show hands in cash games when players are all in before all cards are dealt just as full tilt does?

u should show them right on the table like in normal showdown too. so i dont have to open replayer while 24 tabling.

I actually wasn't referring to that situation at all. We are aware of that somewhat controversial issue however.

This is allways like that for almost any site. All cards that go to SD are accessible to anyone who was playing at the table. Nevertheless, an observer can't show those mucked cards.

I think most players want this but i believe the final decision will come down to Daniel Negreanu.

keep it the way it is. there is absolutely no reason to embarrass fish "openly"

also, datamining issues.

On the filters for cash games, can we have a filter to filter out tables that your sitting at or tables that your already on the waiting list.

Can we also have a filter that just shows 50bb tables.

Also can we just make all tables 50bb please?!

First choice.... a "sit out next blind" button on ALL tables.

Add my vote to higher rebuy limits on limit hold'em.

But, when it comes to software improvements or changes, could you please have a page that shows what "changes" are made when an update is done? I don't even mind the standard, "fixes bugs" at times. But when you add a feature(s), sometimes it can take forever to find out it's there.

I know.... read more 2+2 threads, but some of us have another life besides poker.

So you're saying fish hate tourneys since you have to flip over?

Either let's have a thing where if all parties AI check okay, hands are flipped or just have the hands flipped please.

agree.

If this is ever to be implemented, it would have to be done in a way that only players who were dealt in got to see the cards face up on the table, not observers. And that would probably be a pretty big coding change.

I know this is not really a software request, and I know this would require a lot of work to implement, and I know that this is not currently what stars wants to do: but please let us change our screen name every six months

I believe that very few people would be opposed to this, for a variety of reasons. No one wants their play tracked for years with their results published by various dataminers... losing players want to hide their losses, winning players want to hide their winnings. The Partypoker system allows people to stay relatively anonymous even playing high volume... and that's something that most people appreciate.

Just have it were the only people who can see the flipped cards are the ones involved in the all in.

The “Double or Nothing” sit and go tournaments seem to be very popular. Can we get some larger buy-ins? Just a $200 and a $500 buy-in. A $300 buy-in would try to service the same crowd as a $200 buy-in so it is not needed. So just the addition of a $200 and a $500 buy-in would be great.

When I play someone heads up and bust him I don't get to see what hand he stacked off with because the link to the HH viewer goes away when he sits out or leaves. I have to check poker tracker or have the HH mailed if I want to find out. Very annoying.

Ofc you could just let us see all-in cards in the first place *cough*

Or you can click on chip tray and access the hand with two clicks instead of one.

Hmm - okay, I wasn't aware of that. I wonder if that applies to (text) hand histories as well? Is this a particular idiosyncracy of online play? I'm only a casual online player and I've never played in actual casino, but my impression was certainly in "standard" poker rules it's a fairly basic thing that a player always has the option to muck their cards and not give their opponents the information about what they had (of course giving up any claim they have to the pot in doing so).

Perhaps that's something it would be worth making explcit somewhere in the documentation/rules - I certainly wouldn't have realized this was what it did if I hadn't happened to stumble upon noticing. I now have to assume that everyone at the table will know what my cards were if the hand goes to SD - that could influence the way one plays certain hands.
