the action is only finished when I press the key and have let it go, and in Stars beta it's enough to just touch the assigned key. I remember once while multitabling about 27 tables I almost folded a fullhouse like that, I still managed to press raise key and won the pot, with present setup of Stars beta it's not gonna happen. Think about it.

This should never have got to the stage where the player community needs to give feedback on the released client. A competent user-centred designer would have eliminated this change before it was implemented. As would user testing.

Basic design principles:
- link tasks that users commonly perform in sequence
- eliminate unnecessary steps in frequently performed tasks

Note-taking and labeling are not commonly performed in sequence.
Having to switch back to the chat pane after labeling a player is an unnecessary step in a frequent task.

also while we're at it can the software PLEASE not automatically mark a player yellow when I take a note on him? why in god's name would it do that?

Titan Poker have released an iPhone app that is fairly useless other than enabling you to scroll the tournament lobby from your phone.

Is Stars considering anything in this area? Specifically, I was thinking that an iPhone app that enabled someone to 1) use the Find A Player function, and 2) use the Transfer Funds function, would be pretty popular.

Was also thinking that the ability to create sub-accounts in the Cashier would be fairly useful for players that keep separate rolls for things (eg. perhaps they are backed for MTTs but keep a cashgame roll for themselves).

Also re Find A Player, it would be useful for backers to be able to save customisable lists of players they want to search for at once (similar to how the Team PokerStars Pro players can all be pulled up at once).

I would realllllllllllllly give pokerstars alot more rake if they let me keep the FONT size when i decrease the table size and its alot more healthier for your customers... plz and thank you!!

Disabe 'always apply label on new note' in player notes.

Hotkeys are working fine except 'activate previous table'
Also 'bet all-in' hotkey doesn't work when you have less then the pot.

while i very much agree that players (cough, I) should be providing feedback on potential improvements in the client before widespread implementation i have to wonder about your assumption that people arent noting and labeling at the same time, i certainly do both at once
my default note color is black, i think you can specify the order of your colors/and the default yourself

So every time you change a label, you write a note? Or most times? It would have to be more than about 2/3rds the time to justify the feature.

If there are a lot of people like you, then it sounds like you could use an option that sets the current behaviour.

But I'd suggest, and the responses in this forum suggest, that most people do not want this behaviour.

Exactly. That's what I meant. The Info tab should update like the lobby does.

+1 for the hotkeys
-1 for the note window opening every time I label a player. It is beyond annoying. I label a lot of people based on stats. Almost none get a note at the same time.

now that i found the little checkbox ..i'd suggest to add the following hotkeys:

- highlight bet amount (so you can start typing in an amount to bet right away)
- replayer
- (update) instant hand history

Options -> Advanced Multi-Table Options -> Highlight Bet Amount.

i see, the name is already taken. highlight it everytime i hit the key as opposed to whenever a table gets the focus.

I had this same complain but Nova themes solved it for me with bigger/clearer fonts. Have you tried them ?

This cost me so much clicking during the game. Now note taking is:
a)open note window
b)write something
c)right click on player again
d)take color back to neutral
e)another click to bring chat back

It's so many clicks...
It should be like this:
a)right click on players name, select "make a note" -> client autofocus on note window
b)you write a note and click chat to bring chat back
