Yea that's sick. How do you change background? It ask's me for a file name... how can I make one exactly like the one you posted? Sorry for my lack of comp skillz. The only options I have are to use a custom file.

very true. "change background" does not imply having to mess around with files. it is supposed to invoke a a nice and friendly color selector. as a workaround..

- you could google for an image of your liking
- you could use an image editor to create one
- you could ask someone to make one for you

@stars: your assumptions are wrong on many levels. stop the nonsense.

Right-click on image, select "Save Picture As.." (Internet Explorer) or "Save Image..." (Opera).

Save it on your PC. Then in Stars software browse for saved file.

Yea I know. Still I am happy that myself and a lot of other players can just have the problem fixed. This makes hours of my life every day a lot happier. I do think that PS could somehow spend the time to make this easier. I does seem to me for the size of company PS is and the amount of money they have they could do a better job catering their software to computer idiots. PS isn't a very fish friendly website. I will save my next suggestion for the next post.

btw, just played a 9-max Sng. when the table gets closed the lobby pops up a superfluous mesage box reading: "inbound connection disconnected - no way to restore connection" ++ nice to have would be user feedback with less impact than

[ok] table has been closed

good old fashioned disabling + [close] button in lobby?

Suggestion: Make poker a fun game to play that's not JUST about the poker.

There are a lot of smaller poker sites out there that allow players to sit at an interactive table where they can peel their cards back manually, do chip tricks, change their outfits, etc. Why doesn't PS have an option for people to download and use this type of software if they want while other people can use a more streamlined and simple platform like what is currently in place? You could even create an additional point system on top of VPP and FPP's if you wanted to take this a step further where players could use to upgrade their character, buy new looks, etc. Sites like those are so full of fish it just seems like PS could do something to make the site more friendly and entertaining for the casual player who doesn't want to get bored playing just one table. Even if this took a while to develop it seems like it would be worth it but I'm not exactly sure how much additional revenue fish bring PS (seems to me like it would bring more regs from other sites) so I don't know if they would find it cost effective.

Surely this was added to stop you cheating mo-fo's chip dumping to each other the cash that you have just cheated everybody out of on the DON/50-50 tables.

These features are a Petri dish for collusion.

Would be nice if we could have different bet slider buttons for cash and tournaments.

In 2006 or '07 I've played playmoney on the one site I know that offers these features. I'm sure they have developed the software even further until now, but even back then features weren't constricted to peeling cards, chip tricks and outfits. You could have your character say things and have them make physical movements like dancing and ****.

I would NEVER put any significant amount of money on a site that allowed its players features like these.

Sooo much THIS!!!

STOP catering to grinders with those features we will never navigate to, and start making visual improvements (e.g. LOBBY THEMES!)

The truth is that your site is becoming less fun to play on...because you only listen to what this forum wants. Don't your client have enough features as it is? Why don't you care about making the interface better?

(You can buy some mods of course, but there is NO REASON not to have some designers working for you)

dancing sounds cool. brings back the fun into pokers. but seriously, stars should pay a bit more attention what target audience its themes are pointed to. viewed in this light i find "Hoopman20"s post quite interesting ..no need to be harsh.

You can also use the black/blue theme from the new stars theme. You can find it in the Pokerstars/themes map.

+1 - even when I 5 table (i know its not a lot), once in a while I will be at a table where there is some friendly table banter - I think small things such as player models e.t.c will go a long way towards making it a more interactive environment. Maybe more immersive?

Collusion is of course a fair point, but if 2 players really wanted to collude, couldn't they easily do it atm anyway through skype e.t.c?

And to the point about collusion, give me a break. Collusion isn't going to all of a sudden become a 10x bigger problem because you let some fish playing 1 or 2 tables peel his cards. If you want to restrict people playing 4+ tables from these features then you could. You could do a million things to ensure the security of the game while still having a fish friendly site. The bottom line is that for people playing just 1-3 tables PS is one of the most boring sites out there.

1) Auto Sit in a preferred seat in cash games. I have to move myself for every table I open, unless I sit directly to the bottom-center seat which happens about once every nine tables.

2) While Stacking the tables and a table that needs action pops up, if another table needs action put it behind the current one. This enables dragging your first table if you happen to have a hard decision in it, and use the timebank while you fastly make the decisions in the other tables in order to not time out.

currently, you have to decide first in the "tough spot table" before doing anything else, which is annoying.

3) why not always show cards in all in hands? checking the hand afterwards with the replayer is time consuming especially while multitabling.

4) do we really have to refresh cashier? Can't it be updated every second?

Cater to the fish and let the grinders work around what the fish want... couldn't agree more.

So just make the tables more interesting and the text bigger if thats what they want. That whole suggestion about collusion is completely rediculous aswell, not only do easier ways to collude already exist, they are also less obviously detectable than someone dancing every time he wants his buddy to build a pot.

And after changes are made all you really need to do to please everyone is just make sure that any visual changes you make, there is some checkbox somewhere in 'advanced options' that allow people to undo them. Everyones a winner

OOps, knew that option but didn't realize you had to choose table size.

I had it for 10-table so it only worked for DONs. Now I can for 9 man tables.

glad I posted, thanks.
