[PokerStars] Software Improvement Thread - Page 414 - PokerStars: General discussion -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

What company would want to do this? Even if you don't need to know it's a PokerStars table, since it's the only place that you play, what about people in your house that see it on the screen? Or see a screenshot if you post on 2+2, or see the video if you post it on youtube?

IMO telling Stars that you don't want to display the brand is like telling McDonalds that their golden arches are architectually annoying and asking that the locations in your city loses the arches.

a) the brand underneath the cards is distracting and thus directly affects playability
b) the right place for an applications brand (icon, name) is the title bar - again for well thought reasons

There were some problems with this change as a lot of players preferred the old system.

If you want to take chat and/or take notes like in the original update, you can put the following line in your user.ini file under [Options]:

KeepChatFocus=1

In the future we will most probably add a checkbox option for this in the client.
