OMG. Post 780 is like my favorite 2+2 post EVAR.

And for the love of god no pot button on Stars. Makes it way too easy for the fish to play better.

i want to cry. this is so great. thank you for finally making improvements.

has anyone already mentioned the ability to tell if someone is sitting out just by looking at the lobby? i'm sick of rifling through 6 HU tables every time just to see that the players are sitting out.

Remember Buy-In

The new UI changes look awesome! Hopefully the "remember buy-in" scales to the appropriate number of big blinds if I move up or down. E.g. if I buy in at 100BB at .05/.10 it should default to 100BB when I play .10/.25

Other comments: I just started playing a mix or fast and normal tables (I used to only play fast tables) and the UI difference between the two table types is annoying. I want the default behavior for all table types to be how fast tables behave: default to "wait for BB" and "auto post BB". At least give us an option to select this behavior.

Yeah, who the f*** wants to pay the BB and then sit out the SB??? That is one of the stupidest (although minor) UI choices ever.

Thanks for all the positive comments everyone, although I should point out that the programmers are the people who deserve the credit for these new features. I'm dispensable, they are irreplaceable.

I should also mention that Auto Rebuy won't be available to the entire playerbase immediately. There are some concerns about the impact of all those extra reload requests on server performance, and the last thing we want to do is ruin the stability of the games by introducing what is, in the grand scheme of things, a minor new feature. We'll start off by opening it up to a small number of players and monitoring the impact on performance closely. Assuming there are no problems, it should be available to everyone within a few weeks.

Actually, it will remember your buy-in separately for each combination of game, betting structure, and limit. This is intentional, because we foresaw situations in which players might want to buy in to different types of table with different amounts. For example, I might want to buy-in to a $2/$4 NL table with $400 (100BB), but a $5/$10 NL table with only $500 (50BB).

This has been on my mind a lot recently. The fast table UI is certainly the more logical system in my opinion (does anyone really need 'Auto Post Blinds' these days?) Who knows, maybe the idea could take off, we'll see.

I would like to be a beta-tester if that's possible.

Hmmmm...

I don't think we need an 'Auto Post Blinds' button. I think posting the blinds should be pretty standard if you are sitting in and you should check something in order to not post them. I think this would be better for both recreational players and the more serious multi-tabling players.

And

[ ] Sit out next blind
[x] Sit out next BIG blind

Nobody wants to post the big blind and then sit out. If they do, they can use the 'sit out next hand' feature.

For me i stack a lot of tables and having to go through all the tables and post the blinds is annoying so having normal speed tables act like fast tables do would be nice

FT lets me see all my transfer history.

PS only lets me go back 60 days.
This makes it a pain to confirm a payment made a few months back.

Could you have all transfers displayed in the cashier history window?

Thanks.

Just came from observing Stars micro nlhe and didn't play. There were several tables with 2-3 players with 4-8 Bb. I think it would behoove Stars to have a filter to eliminate small stacked dominated tables. Something like filtering out any table that has a variable number of players with a variable amount in their stack.

First of all, a note to those asking to take part in the first phase of the Auto-Rebuy rollout. I'm afraid this will happen on a random basis - usually what we do is give the feature to all players whose user names begin with a particular letter.

This is certainly on the list of things to do. In the meantime though, support can provide you with all sorts of information, for example you can ask for:

Your 'Credit Status' report - shows all of your successful deposits and cashouts

Your 'Real Money Audit' - shows everything, including tournament and ring game buy-ins, deposits, cashouts, transfers, etc.

Several 'Playing Stats' reports, showing things like how often you hit flushes and straights, how often you are dealt particular starting hands, how often you win in a pair VS overcards confrontation, and so on.

Most of the above reports can be requested in either HTML or Microsoft Excel format.

You can even ask for hand histories for every hand you have ever played at PokerStars. You should get them within a few hours, depending on how many you've played.

support@pokerstars.com is your friend!

Would be better for everyone IMO, as normal players could leave tables after folding UTG and somebody could sit down in time to post. Not just for ratholes.
