If you look back at some of Alex's posts (some of them go WAY back), you can sort of see what they have planned with the multiple currencies. Here's one I just dug up:

Just give players the option to buy-in into games with the currency they want, calculate what the buy in is in dollars, give them dollars chips, and when they leave the game, pay them in their own currency again.

But keep all games in dollars please.

This would be great, so we can have our own Euro accounts but we can still play US fish.

I would like to see my profit in $ in the 'stats' tab at my tables for current session. That way I dont have to open my Poker Tracker window all the time.

One thing I would ask is that you reserve judgement until you've seen the system in action - having personally done a lot of research into the multi-currency options offered by competitors when we started this project, I can tell you that our system is quite different to anything else out there.

Why don't you have color coded notes that can be viewed in the lobby in addition to at the table?

I will never play serious high stakes volume on stars until you do, and I contribute 15K/month in rake to your competitor. I mean, you would literally make enough $ from my personal yearly rake alone to more than cover the expense of paying to have this feature programmed into your software. If there is a reason Poker Stars choses not to offer this feature I would really like to hear it in this forum. I know people have been asking for this forever, I don't get why it hasn't been done, since Stars is known for good support and listening to their players.*

*That being said, it took unreasonably long to get the SNG buy in added to the Tournament Bar.

euro tables are good for limit transitioning imo, from $x to €x buyin.

Is there a way to filter out the 4-man HU SNGs? I know I can type "-4" in the text box, but then that also removes the $34.50 games. Halp por favor!

Having € tables will probably become confusing one way or another, no matter how lucidly it's implemented. At least that's been my experience on 2 or 3 other sites I've tried that offered this, but managed to create more pbs than they solved.

But, as a euroland player, everytime I deposit into/out of my poker acct ($) into my € life, I'm paying some evil entity a Forex commission (1.5-2%?) and I hate it. == an extra rake. Best plan undoubtedly, keep the U$ as the de facto table currency, but let us run our accts in whatever currency we like best.

Beyond that, I'd like to see (haven't read all 97 pages of this thread, so apologies if it's all been said already)

1) keyboard mapping of Check, Call, Raise, Fold mouseclicks. I'm on a Mac, don't think I can use AHK.

2) ability to color-code players right onto their table avatars, so I don't have to open up my notes to get a rapid idea.

3) many more 6-max medium/high buyin FO and RB tourneys. For now, in my time zone (CET), there's only the 44$ at 17:15

Hopefully they'll finally get around to adding the ability to increase font size of player's stack sizes and bet amounts.

This is so important.

I don't know why the font is so small and vague at PokerStars. And as they develop more and more themes, it gets worse and worse for some reason. The latest theme, Slick, shows the stack size in a very light green color and it's a bit smaller than normal too. Not only that, but it disappears as players act so that the whole box can say FOLD or RAISE.

Stack size should STAND OUT more than anything else on a theme and I hope that PokerStars corrects this in the future.

Why sometimes when I'm adding my name to waitlists, I get a popup saying "Not added to wait list". If you recoginze I just tried to put my name on the list, wouldn't it be just as easy to have the software actually put my name on the list, rather than give me a popup saying it didn't? Yeah it's silly, but it happens to me a lot and it's driving me nuts.

An option to join multiple waitlists would also be very nice.

Please make the sync'ed breaks every 2 hours instead of 1 hour. I think this is a fair compromise to those who don't like the breaks and to those who do.

Who needs a break every hour?

I sometimes need a break every hour. I can now drink beer while playing a 3 hour session.

If i go on a waiting list and the table pops up my script auto clicks yes to take the seat, however if i'm a little slow in taking the seat and someone else takes it the waiting list button dosnt reapear, it's really annoying and needs fixed.

I mean, yeah, breaks are nice. But online poker has been around for awhile without the luxury of sync'ed breaks every hour, and it was only a small inconvenience then too.

I just think a break every hour is excessive. I'm not saying get rid of breaks, I like them a lot too, but come on, once every two hours would accomplish the same thing (a small respite) without being too intrusive.

Honestly, people play online poker to play poker, not take breaks every 55 minutes.

I multi table cash games and im sick of coming back from a break and have to hit the IM BACK button...on all my tables and i stack them so i have to click each table in the lobby then click the IM BACK button...then i they shuffle the tables in the lobby so i dont have a clue what tables i still have to be back for....and the option to wait or post a BB always interferes when im about to hit the IM BACK on a diferent table....IN conclusion there should be a ctrl-b button and your automatically back on all your tables.

A break every two hours is not going to happen. No way, so there is no used arguing for it. This of all the amateurs and old people that play and like having breaks, absolutely no chance Stars is going to give up on this market share.
