How do you get rid of the special background in some of the stars tournaments? You right click the table but it doesn't change the table felt color as it stays the special background. I use starscaption for this and for regular tournaments, there isn't an issue.

Also does anyone here have issues with the cashier not loading? This happens a lot and the only way to access the cashier is to close the stars client and log in again. Also you can't even open any chests as well as it doesn't load so you have to close the stars client and log in again.

after update i see no light theme anymore, the lobby is dark theme and in the Lobby display tab (where i used to see an option for dark theme) there is no option to switch themes anymore.
Anyone know if its possible to return to regular non-dark theme (maybe via the user file)?

An update seems to have made card dealing etc more animated (feels suspiciously like Aurora) but support won’t confirm. Found no way to revert.

I am having a ton of problems with the graphics on Pokerstars today. On my desktop. I can't select games to play in, or go to settings to adjust anything.

Does anyone know what is going on and how I can fix this?

Desktop: Lobby issues - Clearing the application and lobby cache
If you're having issues with our lobby, seeing a red error page, graphical issues, or loading issues, we recommend clearing the application and lobby cache from our software.

To do this, follow the instructions below, depending on your operating system:

Windows
Close our software. You won't be able to delete the required files while our software is open.
Open the 'Run' command window ('Windows key + R').
Type in:
%temp%
Delete these folders:
'XCW' is the application cache.
'PokerStarsBrCache' is the lobby cache.
Finally, to complete the process, restart your computer.

Mac
This process involves deleting files from our software and your web browser. So you might want to save a backup copy of your player notes file as it will be deleted during this process. The file's name is 'notes.user.xml' (where 'user' is your username), and it's only present if you have saved notes or labels on other players at the poker tables.

If you want to save a copy of this file, begin the instructions in Step 1 below. If not, skip to Step 2, and when you have completed those instructions, restart your computer.

Step 1: Save a copy of your player notes file

Open the Finder. On the top menu bar, choose 'Go' → 'Go to Folder...'.
Copy and paste the path below and press 'Go':
~/Library/Application Support/
Scroll down and open our software's folder, which will contain the notes file.
If the library folder doesn't display:

Launch 'Terminal' from 'Spotlight'. You can find Spotlight in the top-right of the menu bar or press the 'Command' + 'Space bar' key combination.
Enter this command to show the directory:
chflags nohidden ~/Library/
Press 'Enter'
This will show the Library folders in the Finder so that you can search for the file we mentioned.

Once found, save a copy of the notes file to a different folder.

Step 2: Clear our application of user settings

Open this folder (see the steps above):
~/Library/Application Support/
Find and delete our software's folder.
From the 'Preferences' and 'Caches' folders, delete the files or folders starting with 'com.pokerstars...'.
Empty the Trash.
Next, open the Safari web browser, and follow these steps:

Go to the Safari menu next to the apple icon.
Choose 'Preferences', then 'Advanced', and check the 'Show Develop menu in menu bar'.
Go to 'Develop'.
Press 'Empty Caches'.
The name of the cache folder is 'XCW'. You can find it under ~/Library/Caches. To clear the cache related to our software, move the 'XCW' folder to the trash.

Step 3: Restore saved notes

Open our software and go to 'Help → 'Open My Settings Folder '.

Close our software and copy the player notes file back into the folder. If prompted to overwrite any file, accept.

Finally, to complete the process, restart your computer.

Anyone having issues with Stars HU MTT zoom table freezing?

Last PS update (at least on .it) is not compatible anymore on PT4 (it says : Warning: PokerStars: Unrecognized game type.
I have already wrote to them but if you have a fix please let me know, I have no idea if it's the same on .com.

Also, with last update all sounds are restored to default, I've tried to change it back how I had them but I can't replicate it. I only had a small sound when it was my turn, it works again if I just click "timer sounds" but now I also receive a horrible and very loud alarm when i'm at like 50% time. Any idea how to fix it?

Is the "challenges" tab empty for anyone else ? I was playing on GG the last few months, Was going to make a deposit on PS but seems like I won't get the weekly rakeback nor deposits bonus,did pokerstars removed it ?

You need at least silver chests to have the weekly challenge.

Hey!!

A few days ago i was forced to intall ps.com instead of ps.eu. since then i am annoyed af with this software.

I turned off all the animations in the settings but no effect.
Though don't see anyone throwing bs to each others (or they just don use it) cards are still being visibly dealt and chips are moving. I do not like it but the biggest problem with this is in the replayer cos it makes waaaay too slow with animation compared wo it!

Any advice on solving this?!
