When playing on stars, if my external monitors get a black screen for a short time... then go back to normal few seconds later, but my entire bottom task bar at the bottom disappears for several minutes... normally its few minutes but once I think it was half an hour... then it comes back but everything in the taskbar is rearranged not like the way it was before that... this is 100% my graphics card right with the stars software?



This happened yet again when playing on stars with HEM3 and starscaption on... and recall this was when I had lot of tables running etc. The thing is I haven't had this for a short while since the last time I changed aurora setting to low instead... use to always had aurora on high but now have it when low again.

I presented an argument to PS that if I am the only one or one of few experiencing this issue that I/we are at an unfair disadvantage in that players with working histories and replayers can immediately see our hands for info and tendencies whereas we cannot. As a result, PS is not offering an even playing field. I like to look at histories and take a lot of player notes and I feel it improves my game/win rate. I know many do not, but it is their choice not to use the tools that are supplied by PS.

Also, I am chasing the monthly poker challenge for $600... I can usually barely clear it once playing my normal stakes and volume. I dont feel as comfortable putting in the volume now. I asked them if they were able to lower my requirement or prorate the challenge for the amount of time that the issue is fixed. I'm NOT looking for additional compensation, I just want an even playing field while chasing the challenge. I dont think this is asking too much.

PS support does not reply to this and only give the generic response. If I am wrong, please tell me why and give me a suggestion on how to get the damn histories to work or how to get support to get off their butts and fix the issue...

I've already did a clean install and did everything (such as screen shots and log files) that support has instructed me to do

I'm wondering if the issue is happening to many or all players and support just does not want to admit it. Thus the reason for not replying. However, I think its working for most as nobody has been posting about hand history or replayer issues recently...

On a separate note, how do you guys feel about the new chat vs the old one? The old one was bad in that the operators didnt know wtf they were chatting about but at least it was a real person. Now, it feels like a chat bot and the time it takes for them to reply is soooo long. Am I asking for too much for decent service or is that just the way it is now with PS? I didnt think they could go much lower but they found a way! hahaha
I have the same issue. I just came from ipoker a couple of months ago. Everyone says how good the software is at Stars and how bad it is at iPoker. I think iPoker is much better. I have found Stars to be laggy, issues with connection despite having more than 1 internet connection and a few other issues such as this replayer one. I know i am not alone with the lag issues either because plenty of Streamers also suffer it.

Wow. Quickly losing what little confidence I had remaining in PS. Besides the ongoing issue with hand histories and the replayer (coming up on 2 weeks now, still unresolved), now I am questioning account security.

I was trying to log into the website to check out the forum on my laptop browser and got the SMS validation window. That was about 90 min ago. Did not receive a text, so I hit the button to resend and still did not get anything until now. I was a little concerned because there is a warning that states that if you fail to input the code your account will be restricted. I emailed PS and got the generic "we are looking into the situation, please be patient" reply. I then logged into the client without any issue and as far as I can tell, was able to access all the normal stuff. I checked my phone number to be sure they have it right in their records. Of course its correct.

So now I'm sitting here posting this wondering WTF is going on? Is my account secure? The SMS validation doesnt seem to be working... what else isnt working??? And I still havent gotten any follow up from support. One would think that account security and customer peace of mind about it is the highest priority right??

I'm sure a lot of you guys are opted in for SMS validation. Give it a try and see if its working for you....

Does anyone who have aurora settings set to high as oppose to low get more lag and more issues as oppose to low? I know people said you are suppose to set it high but everytime I do that, the lag seem to be much worst than as oppose to low. I also gotten that message... your video card doesn't seem to support the graphics or something like that whenever I made the setting high for aurora. So I then switched it back to low. Is there any other user that has it set on low?



Also twice today at least my monitor had a black screen for few seconds and everything in the taskbar at the bottom disappear for few minutes. Then it reappears again. This literally has happened multiple times and its always when too many stars tables are opened. I think earlier I had 16 tables opened and once that happened, all the lag issues starting happening. Using the mouse on tables or hotkeys didn't even work... its much worst than sticky buttons because you can press the fold/call/raise button at least 10 times and it still doesn't do the action because of the freezing. Then you get sat out etc when this happens.



So only once there is 12 tables or less, does this issue get better. Is this for everybody including those with modern pc and modern graphics card? Others mention they seem to have all these issues once they have close to around 16 tables is when all these issues occur.

SMS validation used to work for me. When I used to login on the website I always got the text code and input it as the last step to log in.
After about 6 hours support emailed me that they reset my validation and told me I need to enable it again if I want to use it. So I did as they instructed and tested it by trying to log in on the website. Again, I did not receive the text. Contacted support again and was told that they are disabling the feature for me since it is not working!
WTF????? Instead of fix something that worked before and is broken, now they just disable it. Just about had it with PS already. Time to jump ship and give GG a try. Any suggestions for other sites?

Hey well that is what I will have to do then. I also didn't play on stars for a long time a while back due to the software issues. Would have thought they would fix these issues but they didn't do anything at all. But because of how bad the software at party was and impossible to play on 888 due to that new software, that is why I went to play on stars again.



So which site out there do not have software issues then?



What I want to know though is... are there any players on stars that could confirm... they could play say 18+ table on stars aurora without any issues with the software? I have heard of players back then that would even 30+ table, but those players cannot do that no longer right? Again, I don't play that much tables... usually between 8-12 tables and most of the time it is less but sometimes I do get more tables going and having these lagging/freezing issues is basically unplayable... tables are freezing where not even the hotkeys work or mouse and you get sat out.

i think you asked this before, about sites without software issues, but i know many. If you encounter so many issues on several sites it might not be a coincidence after all.

i play ipoker where i never have software issues and ggpoker where i rarely have issues

Well party back then always had software issues. It was the worst software ever that I played on. Back then before stars aurora and new 888 software, the same xps 15 9550 with only 8gb ram rarely had any lag/freezing issues when playing lot of tables. So I don't think that's the issue and it's definitely the stars aurora and new 888 software requiring a much faster computer which is the reason for this.



I never played on gg but that site I think probably would be the only site that might not have these lag/freezing issues on it. I am not sure about WPN since I haven't played there in a while.



But I want to know is if there is anyone here or know of anyone that play on stars... and have no issue heavily multi tabling stars tables... say 18+ tables without any issue with their computer and if so, what is the processor and what is the graphics card they use. Because I haven't heard of one poster mention this yet in the thread ever since aurora came out I believe. I have heard of several posters mentioning they have the latest processor and even a very fast graphics card and have issues even 8 tabling.

Also had a table today where after I busted, you could not close the table. It wasn't even a table. You see the top part of the headline of that table... but everything below that is white as you see white box sort of. Like imagine a table is about to close but it's frozen white. It was like some glitch or something because even after closing stars, it was still there. I closed every single program and it was still there.



The only way to get rid of it is to restart my computer. Has anyone had this happen before? You see the headline of the table but everything below that is white as like in a white box and you can't get rid of it. It was more like a white glitch that stayed on the exact spot on them monitor and just frozed so to speak. Has anyone here encountered this one?

It looks like I lost all labels and notes in Pokerstars. Was not reinstalling software or modifying any files within pokerstars directory. Does anybody have a similar issue?

I don't know what happened, but definitely I wasn't manipulating with file containing labels and notes. Fortunately, I had a backup file and restored it and all seems fine. But be careful and I suggest to backup this file if you use PS for labels/notes.

Even on a Pentium 4 with GeForce 210 the "legacy" software runs smoother and is more responsive than Aurora on a modern gaming rig. It just works, no issues whatsoever. PokerStars, let's bring the old one back, maybe as a "lite" version or similar. Cheers!

Yes. Don't turn your customers into beta testers when they are wagering money. Bring back the old software.

Pokerstars fuc*s again up their MTT schedule for WCOOP

Today there are two Warm Ups (WCOOP and regular)...also why not make the 530er BB and 55er BB special WCOOP editions? How fkn ignorant can you be?

I think the replayer is bugged. When the hand completes the replayer doesn't show villains mucked hand until you have REPLAYED the hand, went to the river and then it shows the mucked hand.... After that when you close replayer and reopen it then it shows the mucked hand "right away".
Cmon. This is fundamental element of the game and needs to WORK.

So i'm ITM in a MTT and chips keep on falling at the table since we got ITM.... and it doesn't stop. And it's laggy a bit. Cmon, how is this real?
Ok. SO you have to disable that from under Tournament Animations.... This thing could literally freeze someone's pc for sure.

today I got disconnected for 5-10 minutes even though internet connection was stable.
I use Ping plotter to meter my connection stability.
I even browsed the web while waiting for reconnection, because I was thinking that when internet connection was OK, problem must have been on the Pokerstars side.
After few minutes of disconnection I restarted computer but was still unable to log in for like 5 minutes due to network problems even though internet was still fine and I was browsing web in the meantime. After I finally logged in there was a note of error 118.

Anyone had the same experience?

Bugreport:
There is NO resume (return from sitout) button in mtts.
In cash it works fine (on table between layout button and "add chips" button)
So if you play mtt in stack layout - you may dont notice sitout table.
