FWIW, I got an email Sat nite from the VIP Manager reassuring me that the unscheduled maintenance was nothing to worry about. No additional info however.

They were running fine for me starting around 9:00 last night. Several times I got an out of state/unable to locate message, but it never affected my ability to play.

Did anything change? Only thing I noticed is I have $5 tourney dollars in the rewards section. Guessing everyone got that for the site being down all weekend

I received mine a few days ago. 300 more points for my first 40 dollar bonus, received a 20 dollar one today. The only downside is you can't cash out. If you cash out any money the bonus is null and void.

I jumped from PS PA to play WSOP for a while but I went busto and decided to deposit back at PS and I noticed that there are a lot more runners for the tournaments than when I was there in the past. Have they finally started combining the player pools or have they just started getting more PA players since I was last on the site?

That's a great question. I have just heard it won't let you connect while in a PA casino but I would be willing to guess that the parking lot probably comes into play here. The real question is, what if you are staying in one of the casino hotels? If I find an answer I'll post it in here.

My email is saying up to 33% in rewards and 100 reward points for every 1 dollar in rake. Up to 33% doesn't tell me much at all though, could be 0.1%.

The only change I've noticed is that in order to move up in chests, I need to clear 7 levels instead of 10.

In the past, I would earn 7 chest points for every $1 spin and go game. Maybe they increased how many points you earn???; I usually don't play on Stars until the monthly poker challenge shows up in my account, so I'm not testing until then.
