Are you not allowed to purchase the same cash rebate twice?

It says "You have reached your purchase limit for this item."

Then in fine print it says "There is no limit to the number or frequency of Cash Rebate purchases."

I also like the "We will credit $010 to your account instantly!

lol

We're aware of this one and the fix should be released later next week with our next client update.

Thanks,

Hello Dylan. Can you please HELP? I have not been able to sit in games for 5 days now due to this glitch on my account. I have to explain to the support member each time all the details of the situation, where they then tell me to try "uninstalling the software and reinstall", then "send the log files". I have not been able to sit in a game for FIVE DAYS.

Is there going to be a solution soon? Please give me something here???? I cannot believe this wasn't solved after a day, and it seems like nothing is being done to offer a solution.

Any word on whether any competitors will be entering the PA market any time soon? (Is there a thread here for that?)

@thepokerchamp Please keep me posted on what you find out if possible -- I've played daily since 11/4 .. never issues.. was even playing this AM -- Tonight placed & hit my first bet thru Stars (fox bet) & now I'm getting the "Please wait while we verify your location" on both my CPU & phone.... Realllly frustrating, even stranger timing....

@GOODVibrationz two of my friends were doing very well with sportsbook, their accounts are having the same problem. I was winning on the site also. You never know with corrupt pokerstars.

I've contacted them nonstop the last six days. Each time I have to start from the beginning and explain to the support member what's going on. Then they tell me to uninstall the software and there's nothing they can do.

There can't be a worse company than pokerstars. It's literally impossible for their support team to do a worse job. The true actions of a company that absolutely does not give a **** about the customer.

Although the timing is shady, I can't believe they shut my acct down over a $1,000 win -- I want to believe theres an issue with using the Fox Bet software & making your acct susceptible to this bug?

Keep me posted bro, and I'll do the same, I want to get back on the felt -- This is irritating as hell!

Has anyone upgraded to MacOS Catalina and been able to play successfully yet? Thought I saw where that's no longer an issue but can anyone confirm for sure?

I have Windows 10 and it's still an issue... I spoke w/ Stars chat today & they basically said it's a waiting game - nothing they can do or I can do, but I've been moved to "priority"

I've been playing on Mac/Catalina for a couple weeks now. They pushed a software upgrade and it started working right away.

for anyone playing NL 100NL-500NL, any view on how the games will get (relative to right now) when we merge with NJ/NV/DE? (softer or harder?)

Also if you have any history with NJ sites from their first few months to present, what are your expectations for traffic (and type of traffic) in small and midstakes NLHE in 2020 and beyond?

ive clocked 30k hands on my t-day and xmas breaks, heres some anecdotes/observations i can share:

- outside of trough hours ill see 8-12 or more tables of 50 and 100nl running, seems stable last few weeks
- curious to see what games look like after xmas break (only reason ive been on!)
- not unusual at night (8pm - 2am) to see 2 full tables of 5/10 and 4-6 tables of 2/5 going; was playing 4 tables 100nl at 3am and watching 2 6-way 10/20 tables the other night
- feels healthy to see a variety of names now sitting (albeit solo / waiting) at 25/50 (5 or 6 now), feels like the ecosystem/pyramid is shaping out a bit
- concerned that the player pool / ssnlhe game liquidity will suffer as more sites launch (If???); i dont see adding more sites also adding more players but it would be an ecosystem uplift and chance for more ads, so i could be wrong
- not seeing / hearing (radio) any ads to play on Stars PA, but that should just be future upside to traffic right?
- feel good about PA being a college heavy state, every Fall many new thousands of at-risk GPAs primed to joined the ssnl pool (187 4y colleges in PA vs only 47 in NJ)

Loose analogy but all in all this (pstars PA) feels like Paradise / UB in 2002. Folks seeking out online poker are doing so. Not a huge recc tail. But all this legalization, pool merging and paypal enabled fully legit sites feel like the priming / foundation for another boom, which could be then be sustainable with legit sponsors able to embrace. Foundation needs a bit more (more states, more ads), then we'll need someone to strike a match a la Rounders or Moneymaker.

Lastly, i see the complaints in this thread about the software, but fwiw ive played 30k hands and have had no issues, Pstars PA is as smooth a playing/cashier experience as any ive had / would expect.

I played online poker from 2002-2013. This software is modern, but it still sucks in the sense that it's not as good as PS and FT from 2011.

I dunno who has what experience here, but PokerStars for PA only is something I appreciate, but I'm not blind. I know how we got here. This site is a joke and online poker in general is treated like a running joke. Just look at the service here. They aren't printing money like they'd like and they're running the place like a WalMart. There's still no rep to commandeer this thread and make it official. It's just a bunch of randos posting issues and literally getting no help from anywhere, because they don't want to cater to us

I can understand a possible sentiment in that regard, but it just is what it is. Are we actually going to merge w the other pools? The fact that PA ring fenced itself makes me think 1) these people have no idea how online poker works, nor care, the money is obviously not in poker and 2) they're operating in the same fashion that destroyed the amazing meritocracy that once existed pre UIGEA via protectionism

I can't tell if this is just some optimal unhappy medium that is best for profit margin within the rules of the political game of today, or these people just don't have a ****ing clue what they're doing

Online sites make money from new deposits (semantically speaking, losing players pay all rake), and sustained games to churn those deposits into rake (the ideal setup is fast play among exactly equally skilled opponents...nobody wins, trade pots as often and as fast as possible, "break even" and ultimately drain all chips to rake)

So part of me does get the flashbacks to old school, pre UIGEA poker where we could deposit/withdraw instantly w PayPal, but the player pool is miniscule, a joke, and would still be a joke merged w the tiny jurisdictions that are currently explicitly legal

The other part of me is reminded that this could be a federally legal venture, a possibly trillion dollar industry (maybe even dwarf Europe?), create a shitload of jobs and tax revenue, a more efficient economy (and a healthier, better funded, safety net to deal with addicts), I could probably keep going. We could link up w ROW or ring fence it to America I suppose that would be a healthy debate, but the fact is these tiny pools suck so bad. It's nice now, but this will not last I don't care how many colleges there are. A bigger critical mass would be orders of magnitude better. A true free market approach. What we have now is contrived, nonsensical bullshit. Can you tell I'm still bitter about Black Friday? lol...honestly, I am

It just feels like this is a continuation of government ruining **** just so certain players can line their pockets, picking winners and losers, and walling off all the avenues that lead to what could be a monstrous industry, a large piece of a growing pie for all competitors (which is also better for us consumers and especially us who would like to play for a living)...instead we currently have one player eating the entirety of one tiny pie. And the only other upgrade we might get is that other tiny pie with a few players? Le sigh...

What bothers me is many people are having issues and getting no responses. This is an obscure thread on a relatively obscure website. Imagine how many rec players who just want to put in a couple dollars to donk off on a couple drinks but can't because these geolocation issues go unresolved?

The playing experience is great and cashing in and out is all simple, but it's clear they were and still aren't prepared to handle the current volume of inquiries, and the bugs, poorly laid out presentation, features, and promos, and joke of a reward store tell me it's not all peaches n cream. I wasn't expecting a GOAT experience, but what I've seen to date is pretty disappointing imo. Could be run a lot better, and I personally would like to see more sites open. I'm hoping that will improve the quality of all sites that serve us

Posting in here because there is no PS PA thread and I'm losing my damn mind trying to get an answer.

At 1st I thought my geolocation had completely stopped working. Could not access poker tables, place a sports bet, or try to clear a casino bonus I got through the bonus program. When i try to sit at a poker table I get a pop-up saying "please wait for geolocation" that never goes away. If i try to waitlist a table it says "Unable to perform that action while in Restricted mode."

I tried restarting my modem and PC, deleted appdata files the website said might help, contacted support 5 days ago and then again today and have received no reply. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app on my pc. NOTHING HAS WORKED

Then today my Brother in law came over tonight and tried logging in from my pc and was able to sit at a poker table with no problems whatsoever.

The only conclusion i can come to is that my account is somehow blocked and i never got a notification why ??????

Hi UD,

There's a PokerStars PA thread in this forum if you want to try there. I'm unsure if that will help, but there's plenty of information posted by other PokerStars PA players in the thread.

Really hoping party poker launches soon. The rake is way higher on pokerstars (especially at mid/low stakes), the rewards are better, and support will actually help you if you're having an issue.

I'll never hate a company more than pokerstars after this incident. It's been two weeks I haven't been able to sit a table now. Support's responses are so pathetic that it actually feels intentional at this point.
