I satellited into the MICOOP #4 and min-cashed for a decent ROI before busting. After a bit, I signed back on to play some cash, and being the masochist I am, I decided to also spectate the final couple tables of the tourney I was in.
The guy who ended up taking it down, who has a SN inspired by a certain K-9 related crypto, was one of the most ALL TIME legendary trollers I have ever witnessed. Seriously hilarious/savage, and I couldn't help but find myself rooting for the guy. I even railed him in another MICOOP and was shouting words of encouragement pre-final table. He probably thought I was a nut job, haha. Anyway, it was awesome. It reminded me of the days of pre-BF. I wish chat was turned on for the final table, if you guys can remember some of the craziness that would go down in final table chat from the rail birds.
I think chat is great for the game, even if it is borderline crossing the line. Chat helps the community in a dirty, fringe, sort of way... increases players reputation/notoriety within the community, and increases action... and this is coming from a guy who is usually mute.
edit: It did suck though, to be playing in the final table and attempting to discuss a deal amongst the railbird chat. So two sides to everything I guess. But they would turn off chat if you asked, if IIRC
