Negative Experience: Help using my Mexico PS account in New Jersey Negative Experience: Help using my Mexico PS account in New Jersey

I'm very frustrated with my current experience with PokerStars in NJ. Their software and support options has really gone downhill. So I'm hoping someone here can help me. I am going to lay this out as neatly as I can and I hope someone can help.
  1. I now live in NJ and I have tried all of the following steps from NJ
  2. I downloaded the NJ PS client, I am on Mac OSX
  3. When I go to create an account, it asks if I have an existing PS account. Which I do - based in Mexico - and I would love to use it in NJ
  4. I enter my credentials and it validates my credentials. I am positive I am using the right name and password
  5. It then shows me a screen that says if you're already in NJ, click on the "Go to pokerstars.eu" button to complete the account transfer process there. Great! That's exactly what I want to do. I would happily use my existing PS account in NJ and I don't want to get flagged as someone that is trying to use multiple accounts or hide their identity
  6. I click on the button and then nothing happens. No other window, no browser window, absolutely nothing. It just sits there with no other prompts and just shows me the PSNJ lobby and I am in a logged out state in the lobby
  7. I have tried to reach out to support but ALL support options I can find require you to log in first. How can you get account creation help if all help is behind a login? That's just plain dumb on PS part.
  8. I also used the support@pokerstars.com email address but it looks like that is no longer functional. It just points back to the help center which ALSO requires you to log in to use it. Again, how can you get account creation help if everything out there already requires you to have an account? It just makes no sense.
Can anyone help me with this?

You have to create a new account in Pokerstars NJ. Pokerstars NJ does not share player pool with Pokerstars Global.

If that was true then the option wouldn't exist in their software, right? The buttons are there, the process is outlined in the instructions, they literally jut don't do anything when you click them.
