investable Asset Allocation:
Cash
Bonds
Equities
RE direct [not REITs]
Commod/other

Feel free to give an Int'l % as well. Explanations of why not required, but always interesting.

I'll start, but mine is ever-changing:

37% cash.
10% high-yield bonds
65% long stox
15% short stox
3% net long commodities.

I intend to get longer stocks over the next 6-9 months, and I began that process this week.

5% Silver

I intend to buy some more silver with cash. Physical, long term obv.

Since I'm fairly poor I can't be making too big of a mistake. :-)

Cash - 30% (Looking to get some exposure to high-yield bonds and selective cds)

Long stocks - 70%

China mostly, currently about 80% China but moving towards ~ 40% US / 60 China as I think the US is turning the corner Q4 this year.

Fundamentally, I like chinese bluechips a lot - the demographics are insane and the companies are well run. The CCP can keep growth at 8% (bar this blip) and the underlying is rmb which is probably appreciating going forward. Anything well-run and well-connected (i.e. less fraud risk) is still kinda risky but value + growth imo.

Various options 20%, no option exceeds 2% of total assets when purchased, most less.

50% Premium Money market (does this go with cash? it isn't immediately accessible, but close to)
40% Cash
5% Large-Cap equities
4% SKF (Financials Short)
1% Micro-cap equities

I'd really like to be less cash, but haven't decided on where. Probably more shorts or real estate since I should be able to apply for the first-time homebuyer's tax-credit in this stimulus bill.

Only briefly. I am not interested in buying stocks or incurring potentially unlimited losses.

this allocation is COMPLETELY ******ed.

assuming your alcohol is 4.5%, your food:alcohol ratio is WAAAAAY to high.

Barron

PS -also, please post pics of GUNS!!!! is that diversified? and does the 20% include bullets? i'd think bullets would be harder to come by when TSHTF.

At this point in the economy I think I'd be ~100% in Alcohol.

You need to reallocate. The Feral Children will eat all your canned food. Unless they're your secondary food source. And why not? They're delicious.

The Feral Children will hunt with the boomerangs. Luckily they're much cheaper than the children.

Are the small arms for the small feral children, should they lose theirs on the barbed wire?
