I might but they would be from 1968, not sure if they have expired yet. You might ask Cramer for some.

I almost joined the team that developed Naturally Speaking voice recognition software, I played Bridge with some of them years ago. Wish I had done that, I think they are gonna kill the market in the years to come.

none. haven't worked for, with etc. one single publicly owned/traded company.

closest i've ever come to big business was the department of labor and that isn't even private...

...i was offered (and accepted) an MBS Associate (commercial origination) job right out of my MBA program from Nomura that i accepted... and then wachovia bought the group out and i "lost" that position. Nomura woulda honored the offer but it was a way worse position so i balked...what UNBELIEVABLE LUCK...from there i was unemployed for like 7 months and then worked at one of the top hedge funds in the world.

SOOO thankful that wachovia bought those suckers out!

I then changed careers and work at a private company now.

Except public companies sometimes give you stock options. A co-worker's brother went to work for Cisco, and a couple years and a stock split or two later, he was buying a new house with a big down payment with his option money.

I worked at Etrade (too late for good options) and the department head had retired with about 7 or 8 million in option money.

No, I am actually just 22. I worked for Wachovia Securities as a grunt in the retail brokerage in Naples making $9/hr - that was like my window into finance after an engineering degree. Getting MBA now, got an internship for this summer with a small PE/Real Estate firm (I prefer smaller more entrepreneurial-type places - not into corporate settings at all). As you can prolly tell from reading my posts I am a Graham/Buffett/value guy (and want to make that my career), although I am not dogmatically against shorter-term stuff or even TA necessarily - FA is just the best fit for my makeup I think. I just read a lot. Appreciate the compliment though.
