Nothing wrong with a few punts, you never know what might catch on later on in a few yrs.

Do you watch Ivan on Tech, he just recently did a alt coin video.

Yea I do depending on the day, he's a really smart driven foundational guy.

I love how he calls it the altcoin forest and that you can get lost and never find your way back out. "some people are still lost in the altcoin forest"

There is no 'next bull run' or 'alt season' coming. Every alt did 100-1000x gains last time. Alt ******s are now left to chase/cheerlead temporal pumps of 2x before the inevitable bleed to -98% and de-listing.

He got lost in the altcoin forest before once and doesn't want to go back in.

Case don't tell me you were a bitconnecter?

Like ive said before it does suck for those that bought during tail of the last bull run... the bags can still be deep or deep losses...

Its hard holding a tanking speculative coin during bearish time... However I think we are ramping up for another good cycle and technologies/infrasructures are more developed this time around esp outside of BTC

Greed is a hell of a drug so who knows there may be some pumps here and there.

But all of my friends, their little sisters, barbers, personal trainers etc got caught up in the 2017 bubble and the 'decentralise everything' meme. They all got burned and are never coming back.

The only ones left are those that became bitcoin maximalists, fools like you that still don't understand that blockchain is useful for one thing only and dreamers who see a moonshot ICO as their only chance to ever get ahead in life.

Willing to take a bet that we will see at least 1 alt do over a 3x return within 3 years!

Easy bet your you, easy money. Unless of course you are just talking out of your ass! Which obv you are as you can't back anything you said up with anything substantial other than your meaningless opinion!

Who needs them to return? The next wave of speculators will be even larger!

Highly doubt they will be able to resist when BTC and alts start going again!

Humans are emotional and have all kinds of feelings. You expect me to believe that they will suddenly stop being greedy, you expect me to believe they will stop being speculators/gamblers???

**** outta here clown!

This I disagree with

Human psychology never changes, and people will always flock to something if it is hyped enough.

When and if bitcoin goes above its all time high, then the media cycle starts over again and the dumb money will come back in droves.

I dont think we will see 100x icos or moves like XRP did, but ponzi waves will return for the masses

You know, if there's still enough 4chan incels around to bid worthless chainlink tokens up to over 1.5 billion dollars I guess I have to agree that more big pumps are inevitable.

A 3x pump and dump of a low liquidity **** coin is so meaningless.
We have seen bsv at 6x in the last 3 months and that's the opposite of a good investment proposition.

Don't be an idiot! Nothing to do with confidence, I'm 100% right, many coins will do better than 2x, many have already done over 3x.

He said coins will do 2x only, why should I bet on anything else!

All im pointing out is that he's full of crap, many coins have already done over 3x, just in the last few months!

And you don't understand that a few coins going x3 after losing 99% of their value is meaningless as you have 0 way to predict those pump and dump and that your coin selection seems pretty random.

You mean "you don't know when they will pump".

The point was not losing 99% then pumping x amount!

Stop trying so hard to make your illogical point!

He said, coins will do 2x until they bleed down 99%.

I said I'm willing to bet they will do more, take the bet or stfu already! Or admit he's full of **** and lets move on!

Hedera Hashgraph HBAR (love the name) is one ive been keeping an eye on. It has spiked in value outside of other coins and is holding its pattern quite well vs other alts and BTC, might be a good alt hedge insider coin

Chainlink has also printed a nice candle during this recent dip.

How coins do in bad times is a good indicator imo, or at least represents a meaningful divergence from linked coins that can be observed and traded ie their charts behave somewhat independently and may have different elliot wave patterns

Yeah, it's usually a good indicator that they will continue to outperform, it's hard to tell which coins might do that especially so in a bull market when everything goes up anyway.

Will cryptos continue to decline or was this a whale push to create fear and get their orders filled just under that last low around 8400?

This happens a lot in the forex markets, big whales need liquidity pools and thus push price down to where a lot of retail stops are placed. Retail ends up selling (stop-loss hit), and they provide liquidity for those whales who will buy those stops and price then continues to pump.

Have a sneaky feeling markets will rally. They are painting the picture perfectly. People are in fear with corona and this recent decline.

Unless we start closing under 8200 then I expect us to trade into 7k's soon. Few days to see the direction! But if we can hold here for afew days and hold 8300, I am still very bullish for the next few months!

Hey all. I posted this in the bitcoin thread but i probably should have posted here in this thread instead and want opinion. I created a coinbase account many years ago. I also recalled they gave you some free btc back then like $10 worth a while back. So it was tiny bit of btc but now obviously a bit more. I never used my coinbase account to do any trading/selling or anything. I also had it fully verified via documents back then... im pretty certain about this.

The thing is i had 2FA with my old iphone with google authenticator. My phone no longer worked and then i had to get a new phone. I tried logging into my coinbase account and got message to put my the 2FA code but since my old phone no longer works, i could not get into my account. I contacted coinbase on this issue a while back and they said to create a brand new coinbase account with a different email address... then send in my verification documents again. Then afterwards, they would i believe transfer my btc balance to my new account.

Can anyone confirm this is the right process if you were to lose your 2FA device? And i do not have the phrase for my 2FA for coinbase. Otherwise if i had that, then it would be no issue. Obviously i dont want coinbase to say why did you create a 2nd account when the email they replied back to me said that is what i should do. Also do you contact them via support@coinbase.com or do you have to email them using their site with the web form?

Chainlink seems to be holding well even during BTC's dip. Will be interested to watch it especially if BTC spikes. There are rumors about LINK and Microsoft but IDK how much of it is true.

Well thats very nice of them, you should have no problem if they are directing you to do that. They can see you cant access your other account and have the original verification docs... gl

Google auth can fk you if you dont have the backup saved so always be careful.

Turned bearish now. See you at 6k! Market couldn't hold 8200. Corona virus will get worse before it gets better imo. Hopefully we bottom by the summer! Hoping for 6k but wouldn't be surprised to see us go lower.
