Unfortunately, I think the producers feel otherwise, as I'm pretty sure he's been part of the panel more often than any other shark over the entire run of the show. Also don't think it's a coincidence he gets seated in the middle and most frequently takes the role of the "lead shark" when it comes to guiding the process along.
I think it's that the show is doing really well so they're hesitant to replace any shark.

I watch it from time to time and it's pretty decent, although it's a lot more formulaic than Shark Tank.

You people are nuts. From an investing standpoint and who I would do a deal with Kevin is obviously the worst, but he makes the whole show from an entertainment perspective. Makes it much easier for the other sharks to play off him too as he plays up the villain role. Show would be boring without him.

Feel bad for Robert cause he seems genuinely nice but he's horribly bland. Rarely does anyone pick him if there's any other shark with an offer. Lots of times people take worse valuation from another shark over Robert.

1. Kevin
2. Mark
3. Barbara
tie 4. Damon and Lorie
6. Robert

Always like the guest sharks, hope they do more of them.

The show overall has been on a huge decline imo. I think it has run its course.

Tonight's episode was especially boring.

I feel like the show started off as a place for people to show off inventions and ideas. That made it cool because it challenged the sharks to figure out how to monetize the idea.

Now it's just people with random ass businesses. Bouncy soccer is a fun idea, but that wasn't a business in need of a shark. The Brazilian snack? Same deal. T-shirts? Zzz.

It also hurts the show when the people openly are not wanting a deal with Kevin. He was practically begging the brazilian people to let him give money and they just kept going to others.

I'm kind of confused about the brazilian snack thing tbh. They sold 50% of their company, their partner offered them cash, a line of credit and are building a facility to produce the products. Why exactly do they need a shark?

Show is clearly suffering of producing too many episodes/year.

How many more T-shirt, Sock, and Snack segments can they have ? Kevin and Robert have got to go, new blood is needed.

top to bottom one of the worst episodes ever. i actually fast forwarded the last one for the first time ever. they came out with such a stupid product and started the pitch in such a corny manner that i couldn't sit through it.

I'd try the breads, but the shirts - as always - sucked. I don't understand how that can be a money making venture. yeah great, you're another one of those "we give a kid in need this and that with every purchase" company, but people are gonna flock out to buy a dress with a 6 year old's drawing of an elephant on it? for big money?

btw, this might be a completely ridiculous statement, but i want Lori of all people off the show. everyone - especially women - go there specifically to get a deal with her it seems like. same goes for Marc to a certain degree, but i just think Lori is a massive phoney.

they get offers from someone, then immediately ask Lori if she could match it, and then when she doesn't, it seems like they still take her deal most of the time. while she may make them more money, it makes for crappy tv.

I also found myself fast forwarding through parts of the show for the first time. I think the show would benefit if they replaced the whole crew, but why do you call Lori a phony?

i just get the vibe from her that she's a bitch when the cameras aren't rolling.

Watching The Profit is hilarious compared to the Shark Tank. Marcus goes a burger joint, it's failing, he basically remodels the place, changes the menu and gives them 1 million dollars for 50% stake in a restaurant he basically just recreated. How much money would the Sharks have given for half of a local burger joint?

I think that shirt company and similar companies like that are absolutely ridiculous. Cool, so I am paying a $50 premium for a shirt, so you can take less than 10 percent of that premium and donate it to charity? Why don't I just buy a $10 shirt, and donate $50 to charity myself? I get it that people like to wear the shirt because it shows off the fact that they support children and what not, but its just a shame the world isn't motivated enough to help others unless they can benefit from it themselves (showing off the fact that they are such amazing ppl by wearing the shirt). The whole thing is just such a joke to me.

I agree with the rest that show is going downhill a bit. I think the main problem is the products that are being pitched on the show lately are so boring, and are basically the type of products that are guaranteed to be successful by having their 10 minute ad on shark tank. Kind of takes all of the fun out of the show, at least for me.

That Bubble Soccer thing (or whatever that bull**** was) was the worst thing I've seen in a long time, Tank or No Tank. I have absolutely no idea WTF that dude said.

The Brazilian cheese bread could be big. I lived in Brazil for 7 months a number of years ago, and I ate that delicious stuff at every opportunity.

Bubble soccer is the most ******ed thing ever.

It's a perfectly fine product, and if that guy invented bubble soccer and needed help making it huge, it would be a cool Shark Tank thing.

But that guy is basically just a random dude who liked the sport deciding to signup affiliates. It's not scaleable at all.

Yeah sure. I was just saying ******ed from the point of view that if my boss decided that that was a good thing to do for a day as a bonding experience, I would be mad af.

I bet you would love it. It's a ton of fun. I'd love my future boss if he did.

The game itself looked fun, yes. I wouldn't join a league but would get in on it in pickup fashion. The dude's explanation of how he plans to monetize it was an incomprehensible mess.

If you guys are looking for a new business show because Shark Tank and The Profit aren't doing it for you, I recommend checking out Nathan For You. It stars Nathan Fielder who graduated from one of Canada's top business schools with really good grades, he is a marketing wizard and helps local small businesses.

wtf trunkster. I don't really see it. OMG it opens standing up!

Doubt I would have given them a 35% offer. Really surprised at Mark and Lori's deal.
