Well it seems that this place continues to have an influx of new posters, and the average level of knowledge is pretty low. I found desertcat's book threads on intelligent investor really helpful as supplementary material. Perhaps we can do the same with another area of study. Basic asset allocation/portfolio management for passive investing (jlively?) Macro stuff and markets (Barron?) Quantitative stuff (Barron??) Trading (Arturisx?) I would volunteer myself but I don't feel qualified to do any of these topics. Edit: forgot real estate, but spex seems to have that covered in the current thread

Sorry but your logic sucks. Its possible for someone with 0, a little, or some knowledge to benefit from this. Doesn't mean any of those people should run the study group. Sorry that I forgot to mention your name in the OP, but I'm not sure what your expertise is..
