poker is slowing, time for new opportunities poker is slowing, time for new opportunities

I've been playing poker professionally for 3 1/2 years and have made a decent living doing it. i play under footwedge on FTP and 3puttwizard on stars. If you check my TR you can see for yourself. Poker has become more and more difficult to make the income that I have grown accustomed to. Recently I was introduced to the world of network marketing and love the idea of passive residual income. I researched dozens of different companies and either hated their products or hated their compensation plans. Then I found Monavie. In their first 3 years and 3 months they hit the billion dollar a year mark with just two products, their original juice and another with added glucosamine for better joint mobility. They were faster to hit the billion dollar mark than any other company EVER! They are capturing 10% of the market, the nutritional health beverage market, every year. In January of 2011 they just released one of the most nutrient dense meal replacement bars on the market, along with a powder shake and a vegatable pill. The weight management industry is a 60 billion dollar a year market, which means Monavie is going to explode. They now have 4 different juices, a natural energy drink, and weight management products. You can start making a serious income in this company in just the first few months, which is why im so excited about it. It is not a "pyramid scheme" it is a network marketing company. Pyramid schemes are illegal and Monavie is well within the rules of the industry. You can make more money than the person above you if you work harder than they do. In fact, if you draw out the compensation plans for almost all businesses they look like pyramids, with the owner at the top and the ones who get paid the least at the bottom. You can go to mymonavie.com/bryanfortin to check it out for yourself. For those who get involved it can be a very lucrative opportunity, because if it wasnt i would not be involved in it.

Congrats, you discovered something thats even more looked down upon than professional poker playing, MLM sales.
03-12-2011 , 08:00 PM
yes, it is network marketing, but I dont have to sell anything and the tax advantages for owning a home-based business are unbelievable.
03-12-2011 , 08:03 PM
Isn't this spam?
03-12-2011 , 08:10 PM
For it to be spam I think requires that someone other than OP be stupid enough to get involved with a MLM scam.
03-12-2011 , 08:40 PM
and what exactly do you think you know about the network marketing industry Henry17? If you do any amount of research about the business you will see that Monavie is a legitimate business with hundreds of thousands of people, including myself, that make money doing it. Granted, it isn't for everyone, but there are tons of people in today's economy looking for ways to make extra income. It's a simple business model with real monetary rewards. If you look at the A+ rating given by the Better Business Bureau (http://www.bbb.org/utah/business-rev...an-ut-21000953) you can plainly see that it isn't a "scam"
03-12-2011 , 08:47 PM
Odd since normally for legitimates business google doesn't suggest scam as the most common search.
03-12-2011 , 08:56 PM
the sites that say scam on the title are attraction sites setup to lure in traffic hoping that people will click on their advertisements. do some real research and see for yourself. I dont have time to try and prove to you that this company has done over 5 billion in sales and creates a new millionaire every 3 weeks. I am looking for people that want to work hard and change their lives.

Then GTFO.

Spam.

In before lock!
03-12-2011 , 11:07 PM
Hahaha that's awesome. At first I thought it was a legitimate question. Then the OP just goes on and on and on about how great the company is, giving away all the great things about it to the public....then I was like SPAAAAAAAAAM.

Lol, i dont see how this is spam, it's a legitimate business opportunity. Do you know what I think is rediculous, working 40 hours a week for 40 years of your life just to make someone else rich. But this is traditional business and people are raised to believe that you have to get good grades in school so you can get into a good college, work your butt off in college so you can get a good job and become a slave to some company for the majority of your life and make the owners of that company a fortune. That's the real scam imo, but it doesn't have to be that way. Like so many of you I chose to live my life on my own terms and poker enabled me to do so, but poker is tougher and tougher to make 15-20k per month so many people, like myself, are interested in other opportunities to make a living without having to work for someone else 40 hours a week, and work when they want us to. This is an opportunity for anyone to run their own business, which is the point of this section of this site.

I dabbed into MLM network marketing... it really is not worth it.

But then I got introduced into free prescription discount cards for the public to use by a friend of mine and his family is in the insurance world.

Now, there are companies out there that take advantage of this prescription discount card thing and turn it into a MLM network marketing type thing (scam). Like get your cards out to doctors offices etc and then recruit people underneath you to make even more money. But with this, I am not relying on other people in order for me to take home good money. I make a buck per usage and people can use them unlimitedly and they are free and never expire. All the user does is present it to almost any pharmacy nationwide. If someone goes under me like 1 or 2 of my friends who are interested, great I might get 20 cents off them but i don't care because I will be going to doctors offices, medical clinics, mobile home communities, and retirement communities all over town.

So far I have only gotten 1 thousand out out of the 10k I got sent to me (for free) But had no verification on the savings until a friend of mine who needed it for savings and did not have insurance used it and the total was 170 without the card, and with the card it was only 53 bucks for him.

So this is just a numbers game and the more you get out the more you'll make, and the person who is the head of this company was 1 of the top 5 young entrepreneurs for business week in 2009 and am in regular contact with him. (different company then my friend who introduced me to this uses)

My goal is to get out 300-500 per day. I invested in 200 little display stands that also allows me to slide graphics into the display to advertise these cards. Only problem is the card holder on the display only holds 50 per. Which I guess is ok, because if I am taking them to mostly medical clinics they will get taken and used.

So I guess my overall point is...pick something that you don't need to rely on someone else to make money. Maybe something like this, I am more then happy to have someone underneath me but I am not actively recruiting people because I am out driving around everywhere to get these out, and will mostly benefit from my own labor then anyone else doing this.

This is now officially the scam containment thread.

I can't believe that this thread hasn't been locked. (Why?)

At the same time, I have a somewhat different perspective than some in this thread: a good friend of mine's father has made millions off of helping others become millionaires in Poland and Korea from Amway. Unlike others, when there is a legit enterprise with a reasonable product, I sometimes see MLM as an attempt to be middle management in an uncertain enterprise
