I was long the yen (betting on it to go towards >> 80) -- also evident by my stops being higher than my spot.. the trades that I posted yesterday were wins..

Hey guys i have a stupid question. my dad was telling me about a property him and my uncle own that's and is rented out to manufacturing companies. when i asked him how much the rent was he said $7-20/sq ft. is this the price for a yearly lease, or per month? i would feel too stupid asking. normally i would assume that's the price per month but that would mean at an average of $10/sq ft/month they would be making several times what they bought the building for every year

More than likely it is X/sqft a year. I currently rent two retail spaces and both are quoted on an annual basis.

Mrmusicrecorder, what do you think about SLW as a mid term investment?
03-14-2011 , 03:08 PM
SLW does project 80% production increase by 2015, but the growth is essentially priced in, what is not priced in is silver continuing a meteoric rise throughout the next 18 months. I don't like it in comparison with other pure silver plays.

Thanks, Mrmusicrecorder. Which miners would you recommend? Just juniors? What do you think about these ones: http://tfmetalsreport.blogspot.com/2...er-update.html

ceu was interesting today. they announced over the weekend that the cfo, zack pan, stepped down for "health reasons" and the new appointed cfo was involved in another rto that went to zero. pretty much 100% scam at this point.

melt-down like move in S&P futures -- just hit 1279

Nikkei down another 6%

oil futures at 100.2

Taking a small EUR short here at 1.3965 *stop at 1.3975*

**This is way more action than the day session**

stickign with EUR short until it stops plummeting *** covered at 1.3950 looking for pullback to reshort***

**** nikkei now down 12% -- reinitiating EUR short at 1.2953****

*** S&P futures 1277, oil 99.35, JPY all over the place *** this is the equity pullback everyone's been waiting for let's see if we still have the courage to buy in the face of doom tomorrow ***

**** EUR bouncing back again setting stop at 1.3961 ****

EUR encountering support at the 1.3950 -- S&P just hit 1274 handle -- heading towards 1270 support?

*major action in JPY -- thinking of closing EUR and going long JPY *** but moving too fast

***EUR moving through support -- holding it for a little while longer now 1.3939***

****S&P 1272 handle*** oil 99.25

Japan intervenes? JPY hit 82 (from 81.25 in 1 second) i'm out of EUR shaken out at 1.3952 F**CKKK back down to 1.3943

Ok taking a breather to see what's going on

yen zigzagging all over the place - S&P recovering off its lows

Nikkei futures now down 14% -- EUR recovered to 1.3960 / S&P 1277 JPY still zigzagging but trending higher / oil off its lows at 99.70

Things are calming down -- going long yen at 81.65 (betting it goes towards 81)

*tight stop at 81.75* makes sense economically we'll see if there is another intervention might get burnt but have fingers on trigger

** yen 81.50 moving stop to breakeven 81.65 **

S&P on the downmove again 1272 closing yen (81.58) and shorting EUR

short @ 1.3956

S&P just hit 1270 handle (11:36pm)
