Here is what I'm proposing:
I will put up 500 USD, whoever wants the other side will put up 1600 USD.
If the price of BTC goes under 50.0 USD/BTC at any time from today until May 11 then I win the bet. If it does not, at the end of the period you win the bet.

when it comes down to it, they aren't as certain as they lead you to believe. in fact,

Calamities to the tune of 23% certain
Huggy to the tune of 5% certain

so much for all the confidence they had when running their mouths
Heh, well, **** is pretty crazy. ****, i should have looked closer, didn't huggy book some substantial bet? He got action at 20:1?

You should state the source of the price as well

MtGox.
And **** if anyone is laying 20:1 odds, I'd be willing to bet at least 2.5k.

are you laying 20:1 that it will happen? you sounded mighty confident 100 posts ago.. the truth comes out that you're only 23% confident.

basically you now admit that what you claimed earlier is not likely to happen. so you made a TLDR post just to get attention when in fact you dont even believe anything you wrote. just like Huggy

I'm giving 11:4 Mtgox.USD Under $50 before May 1st (EST). For you to win the total time the current price is under $50 has to be more than 2 hours. Mtgox must also actually be online (you still win if it is lagged.)

Max bet $10k (vs my $27.5k) this offer open to everyone not just Calam and of course all bets will be escrowed

the beauty of gambling is that you can easily call people out on their BS

almost everyone is spouting nonsense daily. you can have a conversation with any idiot on the street and listen to the crap they spew.

then all you need to say is "wanna bet?" and watch them stutter

no difference here, except that this is a forum for professional gamblers, so you would think these ******s would have some sense to think before they type.

instead they just make fools of themselves 10 (huggy) or 100 (calamities) posts later

I'll do 1k, but only if the bet goes 'till May 11. Also, I don't have any monies on poker sites, only on MtGox, so hopefully that is fine.

PLBlow, please do not steal my action.

After Greg passes I will take that bet. If anyone else was in line before me they can also go in order.

huggy hasn't offered any bet, and likely will not, so there is no line.

The 2 hour is intended for the price to not just go down for 1 second and come back up, for example today BTC touched 105 for a second. If you have another idea thats in the spirit of the bet where the price level is actually under $50 and not just some fluke sell, I am listening.

Also my bets are real and of course escrow is involved so its proven.

I don't normally frequent the BFI subforum, but I'm willing there's higher than the average amount of butthurt ITT.

Last 100 posts or so read more like NVG or BBV than BFI.
