Maybe he bought it for his pal musk to exchanging it later on .....
Or seem his becoming more and more like an etf of bitcoins, possible some advantage of it might be derive from it ?
Harder to target bitcoins from taxes when officially it isn’t a etf bitcoiners but a straight up company ?

I have No idea if it has different taxe cost implication ...
Anyone ?

All this shilling by all these guys all day everyday is sickening.

These guys all nice guys or something? No ounce of Greed?

Guess I am the only greedy ****, if I knew about some undervalued asset that was going to make me lavish gains, I would keep my mouth shut until I was done buying, but even then if I know it's going to go make me gains I might just never stop buying.

This market smells fishy as ****.

Bolded was my first thought. Take a look at the valuation of those BTC vs that company's market cap.

Ever heard of China Ban Bitcoin?

BTC market is full of FUD all the time. Hell, just in the last 2 days I saw an article on coindesk and others that has now been changed. it Read "GRAYSCALE HALTS ALL BITCOIN TRUST INFLOWS AS JPMORGAN WARNS SLOWDOWN COULD HIT BTC PRICE". End quote.

I sent the article to a couple pals because I follow how much BTC is bought by grayscale and today when a bunch more shares were added, I went back to the article and it had changed to this:
https://www.coindesk.com/grayscale-h...st-investments

It has anote on the bottom about how it was changed today.

What's funny is you can see the title of the original article is still the same in the URL. But now the title in the article reads "Temporarily stops accepting new clients".

So it went from Grayscale halting ALL INFLOWS TO BTC, to stopping NEW customers because demand is so ****ing high they can't keep up with it.

And this **** always happens just days before CME expiration.

Go long immediately after futures expiration on leverage for financial freedom.

So the moral of the story is, there's always been massive HYPE and FUD in bitcoin. Nothing is fishy.

Clearly JPM was FUDDING it up to cash settle their CME shorts or buy more at a lower price. Maybe the other guys are looking to sell at a higher price. In the market of bitcoin, it all equals out.

I don't know what your statement has to do with my statement or diminishing returns, but the data to date indicates it is not applicable in this cycle.

They were also a part of the problem that was the 2008/2009 financial crisis.

She is spot on. She rates her self higher then she should and knows less then she thinks she does.

Where's the part about how it's easier to make decisions when you have access to your opponents hole cards on delay?

I've never understood how her and her neanderthal brother get so much limelight. Do they have contacts in media? Are they savvy businesspeople? Full Tilt etc would suggest the latter. I guess being smarter than you look is better than looking smarter than you are.

Classic Setup:

> Be attractive
> Have a background that creates a myth of some special ability

"She's a former (psychiatrist/game theorist/academic) that is now crushing poker"
"He's a former special forces solider taking on an evil small town police chief"

In reality, the prior background is only marginally connected to success in the new field. To outsiders who want a fun story, the connection is irresistible

You have to be batpoop insane to look at that graph and think that it's some kind of confirmation that diminishing returns aren't a thing. You also have to be batpoop insane to think that diminishing returns aren't a thing.

Bitcoin is attracting the grifters now. The Mooch is launching a bitcoin fund. And CNBC is giving him air time!

You get to pay 0.75% for the privilege to own bitcoin. Or....you could just buy bitcoin.

His idea is so good I'm going to launch a "USD fund." It costs 5% annual and I buy dollars and hold them for you. I think I'll do one for Apple stock too.

There are lots of (terrible) ETFs like this. https://etfdb.com/etf/FXE/#etf-ticker-profile for example just holds EUR.

GBTC added 12k BTC today. It's pretty damn near impossible for this thing to go down considering GBTC alone is buying more then the daily mined coins.

This thing is just starting to think about getting warmed up.

Do you understand how to read a chart? You're not interpreting a Rorschach test here. The chart is objectively displaying cumulative monthly gains post halving normalized to the current price level/trajectory. This cycle is ahead of 2016's, ergo there is no evidence of diminishing returns for this cycle relative to 2016. Why are you having such a hard time grasping this?

Yeah it's crazy the volume now compared to 2017. What is it, 3x or 4x more basically?

With the hedgefunds and etf's ripping now, I don't know what stops this. Eventually pension funds are going to splash money around, just a matter of when.

The bears really did get this one catastrophically wrong imho. But I echo the sentiment that we'll see another correction here within 3-4 months. All my highschool friends finally bought some (either coins or ETFs or stocks). I'm getting daily updates on the 100k and 1m coin. So surely we'll see a face ripper in the next few quarters.

Not a cause for concern.
