More and more users in places like Bitfinex's subreddit reporting issues like: "I can't sell my coins"

Quote:
Since the drop from 13k in btc I've been trying to sell my coins but it says:

Invalid order: not enough exchange balance

WTF? I am in now control of my coins

Its now at 11.8k, losing money only because bitfinex wont allow me to sell my coins. Also, I am trying to contact support and no luck. It says error, try again
Not your keys, eh?

When he tries to create a support ticket he gets this:

My experiences w bitfinex up to this point are absolutely top notch. I'm getting a 10k wire per month since beginning this year which hits my bank max 48 hours later...

Obv advisable to not keep a large chunk on there...

You should reach out to that dude and thank him for his service. I'm sure knowing at least some people got paid would put some salve on the wound.

The smart money sold SV at $200+ after recommending at $64, as it was obvious the entire crypto ponzi wave was about to come crashing down:

Just like the smart money sold bitcoin at $13,800, within 0.6% of the very top:

SV crashing, just like bitcoin crashing right now, only sucks for the dumb money.

By the way, did you sell your SV? I assume you have some from before the fork. Back to lurking...

Poor TS. every time it looks like 10k will break convincingly and he'll get his 8k to return triumphantly, it bounces.

I guess it doesn't matter as he keeps posting anyway, but still amusing.

Remember that his first promise was to not come back until Bitcoin was back under $3k... (hundreds of posts/insults later) He's an addict & it's funny how he makes these results oriented posts as if he's adding some nuance we're missing. It's really funny when talking about the smart/dumb money he doesn't include himself whether it's about Bitcoin/SV or anything else (because once again he doesn't trade/invest).

Paint your face, throw on some tights and a cape, then call yourself The Super Clinger. We already know what your kryptonite is though, so not much suspense in that regard. Just challenge you to a bet and watch you slink away like a loser.

How many times can the smart money sell?
Betting a lot of "smart money" sold at the 6k range because of all the "resistance" on the chart.
Do you then tell us when the smart money re-bought after it goes up again?

All ponzis/scams are top notch until they aren't.

They have had so much bull**** happen over the years why would you even chance it. Because your making money loaning out cash or something? That's what they do, they make it attractive to deposit funds then BAM! WE GOT HACKED AND ARE GOING TO SOCIALIZE LOSSES! Or run their tether on fractional reserve then let the news out and get to buy it back cheaper to make up for past losses.

They never told anyone tether was on a fractional reserve until they got called out. That alone 100% guarantees the site is run by crooks.

If your just trading, you can do that anywhere.

i'm no good with TA if anyone has a good source to track. i just buy for long term but i've got limit orders at:

BTC $9,100
ETH $200
LTC $83
ZEC $70

not sure if too low or not low enough but i missed a nice dollar cost average opp after the may run-up by setting a limit order for BTC $5,250 that never saw the light of day

Yeah, everyone who invests in bitcoin should know that trusting exchanges isn't the same as trusting in bitcoin....

Be careful on those exchanges people!

Will be funny when the posts are

"Everyone knew bitcoin at 200,000 was the top, the crash to 53,000 was obvious"

"Everyone knew 990k a bitcoin was too high, that was clearly the top, now its sold down to 300k, headed straight to 0, its rat poison squared, back to lurking"

enjoy sitting on the sidelines homies. its fun to watch sports and cheer for 1 side

Do you know what the % interest is? If I recall it's not very high at all, and if it gets high, that's when they scam your ass.

I remember back in the day when ETH was going to do a rollback. Nobody planned on "ethereum classic" being created. Interest rates on loaning out ETH were through the roof so I loaned mine out. The fork took place and and ETC started trading on Poloniex so other exchanges followed.

Bitfinex gave the ****ing ETC to the people who had the loan. It made no ****ing sense. If you short a stock that pays a dividend, you don't get to keep the dividend. Well Bitfinex scammed everyone who had their ETH on loan and knew they were going to do this, otherwise interest on ETH wouldn't have been like 2%/day.

Their policies have now changed. Why would they change now if they thought the way the handled matters the first time was the right way? It was straight up robbery.

They have an ongoing list of bull**** like this.

Moral of the story is, the reward on that site will never meet the % risk.
