Hi all,

Looking to buy a 50-100k of Stirling. Have no experience in buying currency.

Which sites are legit? Give the best exchange rates?

I've used WorldFirst quite successfully but if you do use them make sure to ask for better rates as I found their default rates were slightly worse than Transferwise. The rates are ok (much better than a bank) but far worse than I used to get from Oanda before they discontinued their currency conversion service. You could also consider xe.com but I don't have any experience with them as they wouldn't accept me with my source of funds (gambling).

OFX, HiFX, CurrencyFair are all solid and reliable. I prefer CurrencyFair for the simplicity/good rates/speed, but there's not a lot between them.
