Every thread in BFI turns into a “lets talk and argue with TS” thread. This place is and had been a **** show for a long time. Theres always one on every forum....

Considering this is his whole life I'm betting he is on numerous forums on numerous topics with a similar persona.

If you have any kind of respect for TS or think he has any wisdom to impart you need to take a good hard look in the mirror. You've been had. The guy is about a big of a loser as you can get in the world.

TS is a pretty good poster but people get way too wrapped up in the troll stuff. When he is focused and engaged, hes going to give you the most well thought out analysis on the forum. His sparring with Despacito in the Tesla thread is very good summary of the bear thesis from 10,000 posts, just as a recent example.

He shared a dumb and wrong opinion with zero worth, and he'd been doing it a lot that day with his idiotic/pointless technical analysis and missing what actually did move the market.

And the graph shows precisely what I said it does - that the move that day was Trump impeachment...it retraced fully 50% of the day's losses in 5 minutes on high volume the instant Trump tweeted he was releasing Ukraine transcripts, something that the technical analyst idiot ASAP17 claimed was "irrelevant". The graph is conclusive proof that the day's breakdown was on Ukraine...particularly when it also dived hard on Pelosi's statement.

When someone repeatedly spews dumb and wrong opinions without using their brain first, we shouldn't say anything? Clayton gave me a hard time on a rare instance when I was wrong and it was great...it's what should happen.
I'm not here daily. I rarely talk about how well I do at trading. If I wanted to show off I would have posted here yesterday in real time to show off when the easy money calls came in on the Tesla news, like I did in private chat. I don't do that any more because of caustic idiots like ASAP17, to everyone's loss of actual money.

Except in this case it was completely correct. When I'm wrong (very rarely) I get slapped down as well and it's a good thing.
There are three total losers in this forum who are highly toxic.

1. ASAP17...harasses multiple posters with zero content and looks for attention. His few content posts (with usually awful analysis) don't outweight that disruption. When I'm not around he goes after and follows around other posters with snarky BPD sarcasm while also being hilariously wrong (e.g. btc on SNAP). Used to be better.
2. turtletom...just a trolly idiot on any level of analysis who's never said anything useful for anyone in this forum ever
3. TheMVP, bitcoin loser with a grudge.

Take those losers away (they provide no worth at all) and this forum cleans up 90%.

there's a difference between telling someone they are eating a dick vs what you are doing, which is going around, collecting all the dick in sight, putting it in a big back and then you just start gobbling all those dicks and say "see this is what you are doing!" when in fact you're the one now eating the big back of dicks to demonstrate someone else was nibbling on a singular dick

We've had this discussion multiple times, he should take his own advice and use the ignore function on me because I'll engage with TS whenever I want. If you guys don't like it then we have a mod thread buried in here or report a post.

One thing I'll say about my own time on here is at least guys like coordi and grim who used to think I was a total joke now only think I'm partially that way so I take that as progress gents. We can create value and positive discussions with people we view as boneheads, if we just employ a little more civility (yes I will try to take these words to heart as well, I could've been more receptive to someone like btc no matter how frustrating he was to deal with lol).

TS is great for like ~5-10% of his posts, the ones that are objective and detail-oriented, like some of his tesla stuff. The problem is the other 90% are hot garbage. And it just piles in nonstop.

BFI would be way better and would have more contributors if everyone just stopped engaging w/ TS. Also the other toxic posters would be about 80% less toxic if TS retired. TS turns slightly annoying posters into super annoying posters and he turns trolls into insufferable back-and-forth puppets that play posting games w him nonstop and fill threads w/ drivel.

I'm a losing trader so it's hard for me to be too critical as I post as much as anyone. If I didn't hit the lotto on bynd I'd be down quite a bit. I also shared bynd here before it mooned, and I know Jupiter made money on TXMD. That's the baseline for me, is sharing ideas that others can determine for themselves if it's any good. Or, at least engaging with those ideas in good faith.

I'm pretty good at skimming over filler and drivel so it's not an issue for me, but I agree in theory that more posters would be active with less drivel. I also think the Brian/TS bet got a lot of posters involved that haven't posted since the bet ends, so I dunno. It could just be a natural thing independent of anyone's posting style

The whole site traffic is down across the board, there was a day here last week or a couple weeks ago when no one posted in BFI and we have some pretty high volume posters. It is a poker forum first (in 2019), that clearly has a lot to do with whether a new user is coming in, other posters returning.

It would serve you better if instead of openly stating you don't give a ****, you actually took a moment to give a ****.

Anyways, been watching CMG for a week now and like it for a short with a fairly tight stop here if they open flat or under. It feels like groundhog day with how the company got there in fall of 2015.

Bought a mix of SLV shares and options on the open. Think some bears are getting trapped here.

FYI: Thought process in short is that one you have breadth divergence in gdx and mining shares. Plus short term you are at bottom of auction with most aggro selling getting bot by buyers. Will see. May exit today if I don't think it looks like a bottom of a rally that might retest.
