Is anybody else still sweating the NXPI deal with me? Holding into earnings tomorrow?

Still in CVSI but it's making me nervous when i look at the underlying asset and the market cap for this. Not sure about a CBD based thing, and I am not sure what a good exit point is for this.

Really don't think I want to take TWTR into earnings. Kind of encouraged by the low-ish short float though.

Most people that trade otc, pinks smartly trade them undersized. So say just as an example $10k+ is someones typical position size aka the amount they trade. In a thin otc, pink they would only go about $1k-2k roughly(fun bucks). Imo the higher you go in size the more aggressively you take profits in these. You have to take profit AND cut losses super aggressively. If you have a gain sell in tranches. You should have a max % loss on every trade you make and mental or hard stop loss "before" you even enter.

Well as much as I stuck my thumb in my ass on CRBP, gonna be a great week all told thanks to all the buying in the CDN weed space again today. Find myself with a bigger position now than the one I sold before the collapse. See if we can repeat the same play before the task force results in November.

Sold 2/3's of TWTR position 17.22 (from 18.05). Just not comfortable taking that into earnings. Best of luck to those who do, I hope you're rewarded.

Anyone really believe there'a a chance in hell OPEC comes to some sort of agreement Nov 30? My wife's portfolio has done great on this surge, but short term sentiment is starting to look a bit mediocre. I'm starting to ask myself what could possibly be different this time around with OPEC.

NXPI earnings out a few minutes ago:

62% YoY Q3 revenue growth, 53% YoY increase in non-GAAP op. income.

$2.01 non-GAAP EPS, .26 GAAP EPS.

Analyst non GAAP est. was $1.60.

"in line" projections for Q4, which is unfortunate IMO.

Really, I think none of this probably matters and this all hinges on what will be said about the acquisition at the investor call tomorrow 8 EST. Possibility they hold off an announcement til QCOM earnings next week? I think it's a decent probability.

Am I the only one playing this?

Yeah I'm short some NXPI puts. Just depends on the QCOM deal. I don't really care to read into the earnings or anything

Qualcomm Inc said on Thursday it had agreed to buy NXP Semiconductors NV for an enterprise value of about $47 billion, as it seeks to expand the reach of its chips from phones to cars.

Qualcomm said it would offer $110 per share in cash, a premium of 11.5 percent to NXP Semiconductor's Wednesday's close.

Wow the CYH carnage is impressive. trying to learn about their model quickly but the more I read the more I figure it best to stay away for a while.

Looking to sell ACB before the close and take my profits (don't wanna play those earnings). In turn I do want to gamble on TLGT earnings. Not sure what my edge is there, but they've beat 3/4 times recently and they've been dragged down by the Hilldawg effect in biotech. With a nice 20% short float I think the upside is decent on a beat and the downside is fairly manageable.

Long CVX into ER tomorrow on unusual options, also in some NKE cheapies for a bounce next week.

Didn't play TLGT earnings, respecting that short float. Looks like I'm pretty married to making a move on CRBP at some point. Position I hold right now is small but it's about to get a lot bigger at these prices. Pretty low volume on this drop, really seems unfounded to me. Of course I've been wrong on stuff like this before (KMPH comes to mind). Still the idea that one article caused this is pretty lol.

i was hoping twitter would make a move either way after earnings. looks like its not going to happen. i need it to move in 8 days to make a good return or it will just end up a small winner

i dont think now is a good time to hold twitter. i dont have a crystal ball. its not expensive relative to where it was a couple weeks ago and its not cheap either. i won't be doing anything until something actually happens. im not going to try and predict anything here

Found (CNBX) Cannabics Pharma going through my usual scans. Just came off a flag. Real thin though.

Ew. Fading you here. Wrote ZN puts today.

Nothing wrong being bearish, but very suboptimal entry.

Already got a double on CVX, taking some off & letting it ride. Appreciate the EOD puke yesterday.

Nice!

Decent one for me despite reliving my RLYP nightmare (which somehow still got there) with CRBP. Gonna be averaging down but holding out for the spot. The biotech massacre is spectacular.

Think it's a market buy on this FBI scare. Long DIA at 181.31, possibly holding into monday. Likely selling before the bell
