GPRO really is an unstoppable force. Full credit to the person in here who eventually makes a bundle shorting it.

Also at some point soon Dempster is going to be mad, I'll be buying GDX too, and probably a bit of JNUG too. Man the dollar is just crushing.

ok Dempster, it's happening. bought GDX 22.05, SLV 16.80

Have RWM at 16.27 (short Russel), and the rest is just distressed stuff like DO. Lot of cash sitting on the sidelines here to do something.

Watching INVN get absolutely destroyed, know a lot of traders who played that recently looking for a bounce.

Why are you buying SLV? Didn't I save you from that disaster a month or so ago when it was trading in the 19s?

Not so much trading, buy more of a buy/hold type, recently rearranged my entire portfolio and specifically got into some interesting ones. Would love to hear takes (or flames) on any of the following:

VIPS
PIP
PBR
ALJJ
DDD

Whelp, I gotta ask. What's a MUSH trade?

Btw anyone want to put themselves out there and predict how tomorrow goes? Everything in site bought up?

Everyone here knows I'm super bullish on the markets given the environment we're in. I also have ignored every chart in relation to some kind of multiple or valuation since it's all irrelevant with QE. But now with QE slowing, for once a chart has actually caught my eye. Thoughts on it?

Correlation between fed balance sheet + SPX

I expect another down day for SPY. I place no value on my predictive skill though...

Sorry but unfortunately that's a name I know very very little about. I remember looking at it once a bit over a year ago and haven't checked it out since.

Shorted CNET and it worked well. Doesn't really look like anything is flying at the moment. Watching JRJC since it's trying to push and because of it's history the past few weeks. I'll try not to short it out of boredom

Permabears lol market is so hated overall yet keeps churning higher (even though it does look a bit tired, volatility rising) so take the hint.

Shorting YHOO in short term now seems foolish imo, too many variables from activists, BABA hedgers Myrna. Don't know how you could possibly have an edge.

Think this is a good entry point for KORS. Near the 52-week lows. $14.5b market cap, $2b in net assets ($2.4b assets, $.4b liabilities), growing 30% a year, with $725m in net cash flow over the past year. They haven't really penetrated Asia yet, where Coach has a lot of market share to steal.

It was a high flying momentum stock earlier this year...but there was a negative reaction to last quarter's earnings due to inventory increases, and a large shareholder exited the company a few weeks ago. Management provided a sufficient explanation for the inventory and sounded optimistic on that earnings call (not surprising, but better than hedging). Once we get next quarter's earnings, assuming it's in-line with results and we see reduced inventory, think this could head back to 90.

Not a sector I know much about but I agree with all of this. Pretty good conditions to enter a position like that, and it seems likely others will be thinking the same fairly soon.

Bought some Jan '15 Yahoo options after reading the letter today. Just realized, what are chances they issue a special dividend (as opposed to a share buyback) before then and if they do, am I screwed?

A special dividend would most likely be included in the deliverable after the ex date. In other words the odds are that your options contracts would be adjusted in some manner.
