RH killed it, another retailer that makes those weather concerns by others last quarter seem laughable. No position but was watching and will be if it pulls back in future.

SPEX and DARA definitely encouraged me to get back into the short swing game. Still don't think ACHN is the greatest spot but I feel like it's worth having some skin in the game.

Buddy, I had $BIOF for a swing trade but I cut it yesterday because I had YELP FB TWTR and ISR swings, needed to cut something. What a terrible mistake seriously lol http://screencast.com/t/ZLbIzqkATT

I actually got out at the right time in that one. Their phase 2 trial for an ALS drug failed. Stock dropped like 40% on the news.

Looked into the ULTA call. Nothing on it that would translate well to SBH that I heard so scrap that idea.

ULTA's has always been a really well run company that executes well. The 13% pop is basically on a 73% increase in e-commerce. All their sales metrics were pretty good.

I'd be worried on the expense end. Margins are increasing now a bit. They even said part of the 18% bottom line growth was due to moving expenses to later in the year.
It looks failry valued to me. It's cheaper on a long term basis if you look at the out years.

Technically, it looks promising. If it can get over the 200day at 100.83 There is a huge gap to fill up to 117.

I'm most likely going to stay away from the trade. It's a good stock (because of execution), but not a great one (based on valuation). If I do take a long position it'll be based on momentum and I'll be looking for a gap fill. I don't think I'd be comfortable holding for another earnings beat.

In sticking with the female consumer theme..I'll likely take a look at Lulu tomorrow night.

I think there's a non trivial chance TSLA's patent announcement at 10am will send the stock tanking, if it turns out what they're doing is giving away their technology edge. Musk said the announcement could be "controversial", and there was talk earlier about sharing patents with auto makers.

The fanboys are taking it as mildly good news. I think the odds are decent that it's not good news and puts are a good play. In for a few hundred of the 192.5s at 6c and 190s at 9c (weekly puts), only a couple of K worth so more a trivial gamble, but not a bad one.

Out FB 66.01 for a 3.9% gain.

I know a lot of people are high on it right now, but I want to take off the high beta exposure here.

Didn't you buy in at $57? Isn't that a 16% gain?

I sold that in early May at $61 and change if I recall (Its posted in here somewhere...with props given to you for the assistance)

I rebought last week $63 and change (also posted in here) to get a little high beta exposure (and it looked ready to pop). Now with today's macro I want that high beta off.

Still short ACHN. Saw a post on stocktwits saying every penny down brings a buyout closer. Some great analysis there.

I think that's a very good play. Don't know about that far off the money. But love the risk/reward.

I looking forward to reviewing it tonight though. Is this a fad dying or are they having fundamental issues?

Got the time wrong. It's 10am Pacific, not Eastern. Yeah, that far OOTM is a bad play with 3 hours of time decay close to expiration. 5 minutes out, it doesn't matter so much.

Now that it's running up, I think much closer puts just before the announcement is a pretty good deal if it stays elevated.

Well, that was a predictable disaster. TSLA has promised to not sue anyone who uses their patents in good faith. Which means they no longer have patents. Worth watching for a continued slide. Apart from destroying shareholder value for a possible lawsuit, this could get bigger players to exit in the coming days.

And people were buying this up today on "patent news". Proof the market is soft.

I agree, the news maybe positive from a consumer standpoint but as a stock? Giving up patent protection when you are a company solely invested on the basis of future market share & growth. Wouldn't touch TSLA, in fact would be leaning towards a short position.

Since I received my FT$ this morning I jumped on the TSLA bandwagon with you for a little gamble. Bought 30 200P expiring 6/13 at .165 average.

I set a stop at around 200% return to lock in profits but need to decide before close if I want to just let it run. Too bad I didn't have some more gamble in me and only bought around $500 worth

Thanks for the idea
