I'm new to the forum and I hope it's okay to x-post as I already posted this in beginner questions, although I think it's more appropriate here.

Hello, I'm pretty new to the site, and if you wouldn't mind looking at the first thread I created here (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/17...aniac-1396615/), I think I have a decent idea of how to dissect hands and read boards. I understand relative hand strength (though I don't always apply it correctly), I understand position of course, and I understand adapting to opponents.

For one reason or another, I'm still a fish. I often lose even at smaller stakes online. I honestly think part of the reason is that I began when I was 18 (22 now), and was always watching HSP and poker after dark, trying to emulate the pro players and playing way too loose, bluffing too much, etc. It's quite embarrassing to admit that of course, but I feel that I have FPS syndrome even today. I also seem to be okay at dissecting hands later, but have a much more difficult time doing it during a hand. I'm also quite terrible at depicting an opponents range until I break it down later.

I would like to learn how to build stronger fundamentals and learn a solid game from the ground up. I've been plugging information into PT4 (trial) and once I get a larger sample size I'm going to try to identity just how loose I'm playing, as I've never actually studied HUD stats before.
