Saw a podcast with ben89 suggesting this is the fairest way for a coach to be motivated to work with you and give you all the teaching he can for more than just a couple hours of wage.
I'm looking for a live or online coach. I'm beating 1/2 live and am looking to move up stakes. I've had less luck online but I feel like I'm so close...
I've always been a whiz at games such as league of Legends starcraft hearthstone etc. Much better than my friends by far. I am very dedicated to criticising my own play and not being arrogant when I'm wrong.
If someone could point me to the right direction for this sort of thing it would be much appreciated. I've been working hard at studying and playing poker for the last 2 years. I am 25 years old. I've come to terms with the fact that poker is never going to be out of my life. I am thinking about it every day and watching streams and videos daily. I'm obsessed with becoming the best I can be at it and really won't give up.

Hey man I am in the same boat as you I for the last 1.5 years have beaten 1/2 live using my tight trappy play But I want to get better at MTT's in preparation for next years WSOP I am am prolly a break even player online but in the past have done a little better in MTT's in live settings but i agree with this poster if any coach want's the same deal he's offering I am in on it please post here or PM me thanks.

do you guys even have graphs online? 10% is hardly worth it for anyone to coach you. Beating 1/2 live is not an accomplishment. You could beat 2/5 live and still be losing online in micros. I doubt any decent player would take you on for 10% at even 25nl and I doubt you could beat that.

Exactly. When you are a beginner, a nobody in the poker world and playing stakes which are not lucrative for anyone, let alone for 10% you spend money for the service. When you are playing nl50+ and can prove your past success you can find somebody actually good to coach you for 20-25%.

Hmmmm let's see 95% of players are losing players correct?? so since my BR is almost 10,000 I guess that quantifies me as a losing player ummm yea i should quit now!!!

When did I ever address you in my comment? The size of your bankroll means nothing. Go play 50nl on stars and come back when you have a positive graph after a big sample size (hint don't come back after 10 000 hands). You can play a nitty style live and will still get payed off. Also live is usually 10 handed maybe 11 in some places.
