I just started a study group and would like some opinions about the most effective ways of working. What methods have you used to get the best results? (live sessions, analyzing hhs, watching vids, theory discussions ...).

I would be grateful if the members with experience in study groups will post some examples of group schedule to adopt

Used to beat confortably NL25 a couple months ago, had to cashout and now im struggling to beat NL10 (running bad no excuses, could play WAY better), so need to talk about hands/sweat other players w/e.

Just wanted to update my post from a few pages back:-

I co-run a NLHE study group and we occasionally have spots available in the group. At the moment we have around 10 active members, we do not want the group to grow too large and dilute the content so spots are very limited.

We are looking for winning FR and 6-max players who are playing NL25+. You will not be considered if you send a PM and you play below this level.

Our group is forum based and we are only looking for players who can commit to being active in the group, we do have a usage policy which anyone who is invited to join will be asked to agree to and although not over the top strict if it is not followed then you may be asked to leave the group. We are building a network of players who are all aiming to grow and improve as poker players and being active plays a large part in this.

Please note you will be asked to provide results, We do not want one month samples, we want results for the year or longer. If you can not provide these do not bother wasting your own and our time in sending a PM.

If you are interested and feel you can bring something to the group then please send me a PM on here for details.

You should be at least somewhat familiar with Basic Concepts like V-Betting/C-Betting/3Betting(Value)/3Betting(Bluff)/Floating, Poker Math, willing to build your Skills on those Basics and to have Fun of course :-)

sup my name is alex, i've played poker for about 2-3 years, (never a losing player btw)and started actually trying to learn the game a 4-5 months ago.

Currently im playing at only 2nl and some cheap ass tourneys but planning to move on as I improve.

Looking for a study group. 6-max Cash.

Been playing for almost a year now, started at 2NL, and slowly moved my way up. Currently playing at 25NL-50NL.

After a while improvement rate with books and videos is pretty slow. Would love to have a place to actually chat and discuss poker.
