Hello,

I'm a break-even recreational player looking for guidance and to get better.

About Me

- I've played off and on over the years - mostly online - with little success
- There's a lot of info out there, but I don't know where to start and feel a little overwhelmed and would benefit from structured learning
- I'm not the worst player - I can recognize and beat the absolute worst players
- I've played enough that I'm not a total beginner - I understand the flow of the game
- I won a small tournament recently and I've made some final tables at $1-$5 tournaments
- I would love to make a go as a semi-pro or even a pro, but I have a long way to go
- In it to win/make money

If you offer coaching and are interested in discussing coaching, please feel free to reach out.

Thanks

Hey, you don't need a coach where you are in your poker journey. Spending money on coaching for the stakes you play would be very unnecessary.

1. Pick a format: MTTs, Cash or SNGs. Each one will require it's own bankroll requirements (google).
2. Study that format.
3. Get volume in.
4. Review.

The great thing about playing micro stakes is you can play and learn very cheaply. Once you've beat your game type/stakes consistently, over a large sample, move up. If you can do that and show yourself to be a proven winner, it becomes easier to find investors/staking deals. Otherwise, win and play on your own dime.

I'd start looking into coaching once you're beating midstakes and have hit a ceiling. In the meantime, there are lot of free resources, communities and low-cost training courses that can get you going.
