1000% agree

I've been saying for years nj should of gotten atleast one early start bracelet event. And now with MI in the mix, I'm fairly sure about 75% of the player pool is on est time.

Anything for the euros and vegas regs tho, right?

As long as there's still cage withdrawals I won't bitch too much. If they get rid of them then this is a huge negative for poker players in Nevada. I doubt adding 1 state is going to make games that much better. People on here said our status will be reset but it says "loyalty point transfers" so I'm guessing our status will remain intact. Those saying otherwise in here probably don't know what they're talking about.

If new software doesn't have run it twice and/or a BB option then this whole thing sucks.

I'm waiting patiently for MGM. WSOP having the poker monopoly in NV has gotten really old.

I still think cashing completely out might be the smart thing. Balance transfers don't mean anything. Deposits have always been instant.

MTT Prize pool's should be up at least 30%

I'm hoping to see some earlier starts for majors on Sunday now that the traffic will be heavy east coast dominate

Michigan has a lot of players.. this will be a pretty huge increase for wsop traffic.

Adding Michigan with over 10,000,000 population to New Jersey and Nevada with a combined 13,000,000 should at least increase traffic across the board. They’ll be more tables which in my book is “better”.

With Michigan joining Nevada/New Jersey, we're looking at roughly 22,000,000 combined population. For New Jersey/Nevada WSOP players, this will be a big upgrade compared to when Delaware was also a part of WSOP, making combined population at the time roughly 13,000,000.

With WSOP having a NV/MI/NJ pool, this should help push BetMGM to get their NV site up and running, or at the very least combine their NJ/MI pool in order to stay relevant as Pokerstars is already connected to NJ/MI. This should also help to incentivize Pennsylvania to jump on board, as well as get West Virginia to finally launch at least 1 site, and combine their state. #FingersCrossed

I’m not in front of my computer now, so couldn’t tell you specifically, I posted it in this thread, a couple of times a couple months ago.

What is "Not actual bracelet" supposed to mean? It's at the bottom of the online tourney schedule - are these not bracelet events? Lol

It's really tough to estimate just how big the impact will be, because WSOP Michigan is tiny in terms of cash game traffic today - literally the smallest across the US (smaller than any betmgm site). But that's presumably because of the segregation. Why play there when you can play on PokerStars MI+NJ? It's just a much bigger draw.

So i think the impact here is going to be a lot more than "WSOP MI + WSOP NJ/NV" traffic.

I can't see it any other way. And with the WSOP causing many players to deposit on the site because they and everyone else is in vegas it should just make that transition from stars to WSOP happen instantly

Won't there be an initial deposit bonus since technically it's a new site?? Makes me want to have 1k on hand in case.

I figured the bankroll transfer might count as the deposit bonus. If not, I'll deposit $1,000. I had a list of screen names ready and y'all took them all already. Oh well. Super excited for a bigger player pool. Maybe just wishful thinking, but I think the pool could more than double.

Hah, I was thinking the same thing as you at first. But I think they are trying to say that the bracelet they have pictured in the ad is not the actual bracelet you will be awarded if you win. At least I hope so!

I was able to register a new username for WSOP NV, but not WSOP NJ. I'm not in either state. Anybody else having that problem? Does NV & NJ still have separate accounts on the updated software?

they definitely forced him to change it from dnegs .

he has amazing clout with wsop so not surprised but also on par for wsop ,for A not blocking popular screenames like that or letting us just keep our old names and having first dibs on them. also not to mention the confusion the pros are gonna have when all their notes are gonna be useless the first couple weeks if a good pro or a bad rec changes sn .

I also wonder what this does to the data mining cos out there if they also do it for the wsop c
player base

Did you do the pre registration? I think the old client might still be up on their website. Fwiw, NV hasn't had separate usernames from NJ since 2019?
