I'm a little jealous of that.

Flipping between BB and $ is super easy. Still enjoy using 888caption though alongside PartyCaption / StarsCaption on their respective clients.

Hopefully, you can just transfer the money if it's new accounts. Wouldn't it be easier to just have the Michigan players require new accounts?

They'd probably have to require everyone to get new accounts that way. Ya'll are upgrading to more modern software (albeit still not perfect) and we're already there.

Is there any issue with playing Mutiple tables at the same time like another poster suggested?

What exactly is so hard about taking notes?

One thing that will suck for sure is not being able to see your markings of players in the cash game lobby without opening up each table.

You would need to make fresh deposit and cash out from the old site. Also says everything offered in NV/NJ will just add on to the MI site, so won't be losing anything and MI will be gaining the new cash games and tournaments.

When talking to any customer service in any industry, you never know how true anything they say is. Hopefully this is all true, although that sucks about cashout/deposit if true.
If this is true that you need to w/d from old site onto new one, it's gonna be a giant cluster****.

Imagine everyone from NV/NJ withdrawing at the same time? They have had issues in the past when wsop ends with people withdrawing before they leave town.

Really hope this isn't true.

Pokersites have made big software changes in the past without new accounts. ACR just did it last year. If just Michigan makes new accounts, then for sure Nevada and New Jersey balances will move over. Zero screen names in common between NV/NJ right now. I only mentioned new accounts for Michigan because I think there are screen names from Michigan which match NV/NJ names. If there aren't any matches between the three states, no need for any players to make new accounts and the balances can transfer.

That would be great, but I think you're way too optimistic about WSOP's competency.

Yea, this. I've started WD big chunks already in anticipation of a cluster ****

I mean wouldnt it be better to wait until WSOP gives official details and annoucements. Everything currently is speculation, and i would assume WSOP would give weeks in advance for notifications, since the online series is about to start, so they would want alot of players to participate in those events

Possibly, but I could also see a cluster **** happening with WDs when they make the announcement... idk. I'm certainly leaving enough on to keep playing my regular games til we make the switch

I regularly play the 3/6 4/8 5/10 stud 8 games on wsop when I see action. it usually runs every day , but at very sporadic times. anyone here interested in playing any of those limits (ill also play 10/20) on a scheduled time once or twice a week . if we can get 3/4 people ,the others will come and it will be a full game.

Nothing has changed yet for me. Are other NV/NJ players having to do updates or make new accounts?

Nothing has happened yet, still no announcement. Kevmath had said there would likely be an online bracelet schedule today and possibly announcement about software upgrade and merger. But it's crickets, that's how WSOP rolls.

You'll have to transfer your points near the end of each month for them to go on your card. If you keep them on the poker site then you can redeem them at 1/1 value but you won't gain tier points. Once you transfer them to card it's near impossible to get 1/1 value in person but you will receive the points.

I play 4-6 tables at once with no issues. The notes editor is invisible (part of the player icon) and the activation box is small. Conversely, the throwables activation box is also invisible and part of the player icon…but rather large. You’ll open the throwable window a half dozen times before activating the notes.

Wouldn’t that change with more players though? The tables are always open, nobody airs them because the pool is small.

What are you talking about? You don't choose if your APP's go to your card or stay on the poker site. You gain tier credits automatically after it's linked to your account. And I don't know what other guy is talking about "saving up APP's"...that's not a thing.

Yeah I don't think what he's saying is accurate. You shouldn't need to transfer anything.

My card somehow got unlinked last May and I'm currently in the process of getting WSOP.com to report the points from the rest of the months to Caesars. I have no idea how my card got unlinked (maybe signing up for Bravo for WSOP?), and I have a feeling they are going to come back and tell me there is nothing they can do, even though I don't think I'd be able to unlink my card on purpose if I tried. I was at 4500 points through May 2023 and need 500 more to get platinum.

WSOP.com has been absolutely awful to deal with, even worse than I imagined they would be. I started emailing them on April 23rd and we've gotten nowhere. They keep saying they will "escalate the situation" and I'll have a response in 24-72 hours. But they never respond. And then I follow up with them and they act as if they have no record of every receiving any emails. So we are now on our 3rd attempt and it's been 48 hours - can't wait!

And the best part is they still sent me a survey to the question they didn't respond to. Big mistake...

I was referring to the way that WSOP Michigan does it. People were discussing having to make a new account if the merge happens.

Some days you literally can not open a table it simply does not work at certain stakes. A lot of days wsop will only allow 2 tables at each stake to be open, so if a random player that wasn't on any tables wanted to play and 2 tables were full, he would not be able to open a new one. Seems to be mostly at 100 and 200 for whatever reason.

The speculation on twitter was the upgrade/merger would happen on May 8th, based on the limited tournament schedule dates showing and some other things.

Support just confirmed the upgrade date to be May 8th.

They said we should get an email with details sometime before then. All games and tournaments currently offered in NV/NJ will transfer over to the MI software and add to that.

He was saying balance would transfer over but still not sure, details probably in that email.
