There is only one "Bitcoin only" skin on the network that partially shares the WPN traffic, the name is Betcoin. Does that answer your question?

the 5Dimes skin "Shark Tank" has BTC withdrawals... there is also another poker room (Grand Poker) through 5Dimes that you can play on as well. I've made the switch until ACR gets things fixed (hopefully)

yeah, i had heard that ACR was bit only. (or was heading that way). i didn't think that sounded right. but if WPN is anything like the MERGE network, reading the terms and conditions don't mean **** considering they make sporadic and incomprehensible changes almost daily despite what the T&C say.

I think WPN is more honest than Carbon, though far from perfect. More player friendly than Amaya-stars, but nowhere near how Stars used to be (though no site today is anywhere remotely near what Stars used to be, that I know of.) Kinda sad that there's no poker site I could recommend to anyone without reservation, but WPN is probably my favorite US-facing site, if you aren't too concerned that games might be harder than Bovada. Still, the whole poker scene is pretty depressing these days. Most online professional players I know personally have quit in the last few years. Only the truely competitive, successful, or people with no other prospects in life have really stuck around from what I've seen (in the US, at least).

I don't think ACR (WPN's flagship) will have any plans of going bitcoin only any time soon, there are simply too many people who don't use it now. That might change in a few years if Bitcoin keeps growing, but no one knows that for sure what Bitcoin's future will look like, positive or negative. I think it's safe to say that, unless something extraordinarily bad happens with regard to WPN's ability to process payments, they won't be going bitcoin only any time in the next 2-3 years.

Not sure how their withdrawal times are now, most of my recent play has been on WPN.

Probably best to read/keep an eye on this thread for bovada withdrawals:

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28...nk-names-1553/

I think, aside from the recent software change, that most people have been at least reasonably happy with Bovada though - if they are okay with the kinda lousy software, anonymous tables, lack of waiting lists, and perhaps more limited cashier options. (I find bitcoin far more convenient than dealing with banks or western onion.) Some people don't really mind some of those things, so at the end of the day it's personal preference.

Are pay2card withdrawals taking longer nowadays ? I requested max 2500 1/13 it was approved 1/15. It hasn't hit my bank yet. Usually takes max 3 business days in the past.. I contacted support to see if anything was wrong before I went ahead and initiated another pay2card withdrawal but they just keep saying should be on my card soon.. Just wondering if they have been taking longer for anyone else, starting to get a little worried something went wrong..

Pay2card Requested max 1/13
Approved 1/15
Received ???

Pay2card requested max 1/22
Approved 1/24
Received ????

( am waiting on 2 separate withdrawals will update when received )

What are the options to make a $1000 deposit (not with bitcoin)? Does it accept major credit/debit cards or does it have to be WU/MG? What are the associated fees for each option assuming making deposit of $1000?

Looking forward to come back to online poker after black Friday...

Depends on the method of withdrawal. Live chat or the 800# can answer you specific method questions.

WU deposits aren't instant. Just like any other financial system, there is a process by which the receiver has to verify the funds are actually there to be picked up. You can always use bitcoin next time if you want faster crediting on your deposit.

They answered this directly. There were some problems with fraud. They are revamping the system so that it is no longer an issue. Bitcoin deposits are still being accepted. Players who do not have bitcoin deposit option can contact support directly and the odds are that they will enable bitcoin withdrawals for you.

Yes, and that company is run by incompetent fools. Their forums are full of multi-accounters in their cash games (NOT shared with WPN). To be more technical about it, BetCoin shares the WTN, not the WPN. There is a tournament network, and a poker network. The poker network comprises tournaments and cash games.

Yes you can receive a check. They send out wires, but only to high dollar players and it doesn't sound as if you qualify. There are also other methods of payouts. If you click the cashier button in your poker client you will find many methods of withdrawal to utilize.

No. Skrill does not allow gambling transactions to be performed in the USA or with US banking institutions.

Someone lied to you. ACR is neither bitcoin only nor is it turning into a bitcoin only site.

Credit cards = yes
WU/MG = yes
Fees vary based on your credit card provider who may charge you a foreign transaction fee. WU/MG deposits > $300 get the fee refunded.

I was unable to use my debit card, I had to make my deposit by credit card. I asked my bank what the problem was and I was told that most debit cards are not set up for international use.

I am having issues withdrawing from ACR. They asked for all the forms and when I email them multiple times, they keep saying they didn't get them. It's hard to believe that an email would take more than 24 hrs to reach them. I was on phone support where they searched their mails but didn't find mine. This all seems too fishy. I need help. I can pm user name.

I have the Chase Sapphire which should have no foreign transaction fee... so can I expect $0 fees? That sounds a little bit too good to be true. Is there a possibility of Chase blocking the transaction saying they don't support gambling charges?

Maybe a not-so-relevant question... can WU/MG be done in front of the computer? or has to be done in store?

Thanks,
Bernie

Make sure that your documents are not huge. A good rule of thumb is to keep the entire email + attachments under 2mb in size. If you try to send large documents, the email servers will probably reject them.

Yes there is a possibility of Chase blocking the transactions. No the transactions will not show up as gambling transactions, but something else, and yes those transactions might still be blocked.

Yes WU/MG can be done in front of a computer, with a debit card. Sites will say this wont' work, but it typically does.

So what would be the reason for blocking the transaction? Fraud?

So overall what do you think is the best way to deposit from home without getting charged a big fee and with higher chances of getting approved? Any other methods than the ones I mentioned? Some E-wallet or even E-check??

I saw some websites online saying credit card companies may charge "cash advance" fee instead of foreign transaction fee... That sounds pretty bad...

Call your credit card company and ask of there is a charge for international transactions. I don't think it would matter that it's poker related, but to be safe, just tell them it's Europe, don't volunteer and don't tell then any more than that. I would think that, at most, knowing the country would be good enough for the credit card company..

Chase Sapphire advertised "Pay no foreign transaction fees when you use your card on purchases made outside the United States." I guess it's still a little bit vague if the charge is online. I don't want to call them to discuss this simply because I don't want to say I'm doing something online from home.

It's probably okay if they just flat out reject the transaction... I just hope that they don't approve the transaction but find a different term to charge some fees.

Typically yes. Many people ONLY make domestic transactions and a surprise foreign transaction tends to set off fraud alerts on those accounts and not go through.

Call the 800 number. Speak to someone in person. Do not get off the phone until you log into your account and can withdraw. Will save you a lot of time and effort.
